I think that's why I never do buddy reads - I hate having to read at a slower pace if I'm really enjoying something lol but this one looks like it would be fun to BR!

most of the time, we all read at our own pace. Just use spoiler tags and you should be ok. i haven't ever done any here that says read this many pages per day and that's it. i'm not saying it doesn't happen, just that i've never came across it.
