Buddy Read Suggestions

I have this book, but I probably won't be able to get to start on it until next week because I started reading Every Dead Thing today.

That was a fun series Rachel, hope you enjoy it.

Its on my tbr list but I doubt I will get to it until late next month or possibly the month after.

That sounds fine :) Just post when you are ready to start and I'll join in.

Hey, a friend at another group creates a thread for the books that several members have posted that they'd like to read together. I'll add to the list from suggestions from this thread. When the time comes for the read, I'll create a discussion thread. I hope this will prompt me to read some of the books I've been wanting to read for a while.

That's a great way to organize it.

I started this book yesterday because I get a bit OCD with stuff I have to read for school and I was on a roll. We can start the discussion anytime.

Right now I'm reading Every Dead Thing and also The Turtle Boy. I should be able to start Ghost Road Blues next week :)

We are not doing the buddy read until October though. Not that you couldn't still discuss it with us if you read it now.

I'm gonna try to speed up October. I'm sure that defies some law of physics or something but I always sucked at science so I'm gonna try anyway.
I'm jumping into your Succulent Prey thread too even though I read it a couple years ago. I thought it was great and look forward to your thoughts on it.
Oh, and all this happened while I was looking for my copy of Ghost Road Blues. I found it so I'll probably be loitering in that thread too.

Sign me up! Oh, already signed up for it. But don't let me forget come October.

What one of your favourite books would you recommend?
Does anyone recommend World War Z?
And I don't mind buddying up too.
Ok.......I'll shut up now ;)

Zoe, World War Z is fantastic. You won't go wrong reading that one. For me since it's a different spin on the zombie novel it refreshed the genre for me and I enjoyed it more.
Check the Buddy Lists thread to see if you want to jump in on any of them. Or suggest one here and see if you get any takers.

Harbor was very well written, but exhausting to read

his Handling the Undead was a very interesting perspective on zombies

I'm not really into vampires, but I'm always interested in new perspectives on old standards
let me know what you think of Harbor when you start it
