agh! Rhonda! I'd love to but I'm not sure when I could start. :(

The Blind Owl by Sadegh Hedayat - Iranian horror, not really sure how "horror" it is but the blurb references Poe. I'll be starting this one soon.
Under a Watchful Eye by Adam Nevill will be picking this up from the library in a day or two so will probably start in a week?
The Prisoner of Hell Gate by Dana I. Wolff flexible on start date, i don't have the book yet but my library has it available. This has a lot of bad reviews it looks like but I am still kind of curious lol
anyone wanna join in one ?

I would join you with Nevill's Under a Watchful Eye, I already have a copy of this and wanted to read it soon, so why not in April. :)

We can start next week if it's okay for you :)
Then I can finish my current reads this weekend and maybe someone decides over the Easter holidays to join us.

In my opinion, a buddy read is a buddy read. It doesn't matter what genre. HA is about bringing like-minded people together.

Omg if y'all aren't reading Glenn Rolfe's Land of Bones, your missing out! He's one of Aprils guest authors. Anyone want to buddy read one of his books? I ask him for a suggestion so I'm waiting to see which he suggest but I'm thinking around April 20th?

I'm going linger like a weirdo since I don't think I can read it right now.

I'm scared to death of dolls and puppets so this is right up my alley.

Awesome Mehmet, Nickronomicon & Latasha! I could read this next month or whatever works for all of you. April is slammed packed with my book greed. hahaha

Continuing in May with another Nevill book would be great :)

Sweet!! I could start a buddy read for it in the next few days if that's good for everyone. I know we'll be starting at the beginning of May but this might give more people time to plan if they want to join. Does that work?

House of Small Shadows

awesome! I've never done a BR on here before so I don't know what the next steps are in setting it up.

I've read it a while ago and really enjoyed it :)
If you ever plan to read the next part in the series, let me know and I would love to join. :)

I have quite a few of Herbert's, but ..."
Sepulchre is pretty cool, The Rats is OK, but kinda dated and not Herbert's best work. The Dark, on the other hand, is arguably my fave of his. It really was Herbert in his prime.
