I'm just seeing your comment now - I didn't end up buddy reading it here, in another group!
Would anyone like to read The Other by Thomas Tryon with me?I've been wanting to read it and now I have a copy. If someone wants to join me, I can start whenever you are ready, even if you would like to wait a bit.

I created us a thread, I was on here doing some other things.

Thank you!!!
Does anyone else have a used bookstore "problem" besides me? I have a mountain of used bookstore finds that are staring at me and waiting oh so ever patiently to be finally selected from my TBR pile. So, I thought a Buddy Read is just what the doctor ordered to help cure Too-Many-Book-itis.
If anyone suffers from the same malady and would like to crack open selections from the following, let me know:
John Farris
Graham Masterton
J.N. Williamson
Charles L. Grant
James Herbert

All Heads Turn When the Hunt Goes By, Walkers, The Houngan, Sound of Midnight Hauntedany of those strike your fancy?
I’ll get in on that action if we can start next week. I need to finish up a few. Tuesday? Wednesday? If not that’s cool.

cool by me, I can get it from overdrive. Ken, what are a few of the books you do have by those authors you listed?
I would be in for some James Herbert (only read the Fog by him), but can't make it this month, but with April or any other time I would be fine.

I have quite a few of Herbert's, but the three that I keep picking up and setting down are The Rats, The Dark, and Sepulchre.

Anyone of these would be fine with me. Maybe starting with The Rats then?
I’m down with The Rats....ok, not in the literal sense, but I’ve had mice problems in the past and that was a nightmare!
Addy wrote: "I won’t be able to start til the end of March though"That's perfecly fine for me. Starting in April would be even better for me, if that's okay
Rats is a great novel, if you ever been on the London Underground there is a part that may creep you out big time

I have The Haunting of Hill House on order from my library - it should be with me in about a week! Not sure if you have already started the buddy read though?
