Welcome, Dustin! I'm glad to have you with us. I need to start perusing this forum, too. I'm planning to be with the first group, the one that reads it in December. I have to finish the Women and Men review, read the The Quincunx. I'm almost done with the DFW biography.
Thank you very much, Aloha!!:) I'm happy to be here. I have no idea when I'll get to Infinite Jest, but I surely will read it some time.

Aloha wrote: "You'll still get a lot following the discussion here, Dustin."Yeah, I'm sure I will. There seems to be a lot of valuable information here. Thank you for the heads-up, Aloha.
Whew! Finally finished reading IJ, so I was comfortable visiting all of those threads with spoilers! I can't wait to read this again!!!
Hi folks! I've just joined the group because I started reading IJ a little over a week ago and knew I'd need some support to digest it! I won't be following the reading schedule exactly, but look forward to discussing. I'm reading the epub format on my Nook, so the pages don't exactly line up, but I definitely appreciate the ease of skipping between the text and the footnotes.Aside from the anticipation of where the story is going, I'm also enjoying the fictionalized and real locations around the Boston area. I was doing a lot of theorizing about where Enfield was supposedly located, and just came upon http://infiniteatlas.com . Looks like I used to live smack in the middle of the Empire Waste Displacement compound... wonder what happened to my triple-decker in the IJ universe!

Hi everyone. My name is Adam and I'm happy to be a part of the group you have here. I haven't read the book yet, but I picked up a copy the other day, and can't wait to dig in.Thanks for the invite, Dustin!
I'd like to welcome IJ's newest member, Cheryl! I look forward to chatting you in the group, and reading the book with you!

I just joined the group, which looks great, BTW. I'm really looking forward to reading Infinite Jest (some day,) and discussing Wallace's work with like-minded individuals such as yourselves.
Thank you for the invite, Aloha!!!
