Introduce Yourself!

Thanks, Jess! I think it'll be fun to hang around...it's a nice place :)

I haven't read Patricia Briggs or Jeaniene Frost, but they are next on my list. I am reading Richelle Mead's Storm Born right now (loved Vampire Academy, Succubus series is just ok for me) but I just finished the 3rd book of Ilona Andrews' Kate Daniels Series and LOVED them, find myself thinking about the characters even after starting another book, which is always a sign of an awesome book. Can not wait for the next one.

My name is Angi and I've loved the "dark side" since I was a little girl. Always ghosts, fairies, vamps, shifters, etc. I read other stuff as well, but UF and also PNR, is my fav! :)

Melodie,
I have seen some of the shows and my husband has read his books. I read t..."
SO true. I haven't read the books Steph, but the few episodes that I watched of the series were AWFUL!

I agree with you completely! The last book I forced myself to finish was Shutter Island by Dennis Lehane. I truly HATED that book and I promised myself then that I would never do that again, regardless of who the author was!

My name is Ellen. I love reading practially anything -as long as it is good- but I do love my PNR and UF. I'm aussie, and before you ask: No, I do not say G'day. =D
Lol. Happy readings everybody! I feel like my duty to the introuduce yourself fourm is complete!
FYI: If I sound a little tad bit crazy, you will probably find that that will happen in the future. Lol. Just a pre-warning.

That's so funny you should both mention that. I work in an elementary school and I stopped at a bulletin board the other day that had a poster from all over the world with different ways of people saying hello. And under the person from Australia it said G'day!
Maybe I should go correct that poster!! lol.

Some people do, but.. the majority of people I talk to simply say 'Hi' or 'hey' every now and then a G'day comes out but it's rare. I don't speek for everyone though!

I got addicted to PNR when I red the "Twilight Saga". I read this series in about a 2 week span. When I was done I wanted more of course but I wanted more of an adult version. I have become obsessed with shape shifters, werewolves, dhampires, succubus's and of course our wonderful and glorious Vampires. For crying out loud I had my friend who is a dentist make me real vampire fangs for Halloween! Is it a ridiculous obsession? I think not! PNR is great for anyone looking for adventure and love! I am glad to be part of this group and hope to get some great recommendations from this site.
Have fun and may the Paranormal World take your mind where it really wants to go!!

The only time I would say G'Day would be when I talk to older people around where I live.
(I live out rural NT, so if that serves as an explanation) Or if we are mucking around.

Alot of the authors are new to me, but Paranormal(anything Vampire!) has always been my first choice in reading. I also love thrillers/mysteries with deep psychological/psychic/paranormal subject matter.
I hope I'm a good addition to this group!!!

I'm reading the Traveler by John Twelve Hawks right now, and Patricia Briggs' Blood Bound is on deck. She's new to me. I just read Twilight 'cuz I thought I should, LOL. I also love Terri Garey, Jeaniene Frost, Linnea Sinclair (sci-fi romance) and Kay Hooper.
Cheers!
