If you ever want to practise it, feel free. I can send you some Francophone suggestions on what to watch, what's good, etc.
Mostly though, my French is not from an obvious community. It's neither from France nor Quebec but I understand both just fine.
Name a language and I probably can speak it.

Fascinating. Sanskrit sounds positively enthralling.

Translation: If you are able to learn the rules of Sanskrit, you should be able to learn any language with the exception of Chinese/Japanese/Korean.

Spanish, definitely, because it's a Latin root language like English whereas Chinese has nothing to do with English.

Hey, you should pay attention to that 'dead language'. There's good money in that!

Next time just think of it as training for the purpose of making money later on. You'll do better.

Ah, but you speak German and Swahili. That's a fascinating mix, my friend.

I had to learn a little Swahili in Kenya but unfortunately it's mostly all lost. Many people I know speak it, though. That and Arabic.

It is an interesting mix, I agree. But I need to brush up on both. I'm not very fluent. Certainly not as fluent as yourself.
(Sorry by the way. I didn't see your comment till just now.)

Swahili is kind of strange in the mind of an English speaker. Not enough words sometimes and then too long of words other times.
For some reason or other, I rather like some of the sounds of German. It's very rough, yet when spoken by a native it kind of jumps out the mouth.

Well, most languages are more fluent coming from the natives of the original language. But, I have to agree - The German language is quite extraordinary!

I can speak a lot actually. I live in Bangladesh, Dhaka. And it's lots of fun here, because we have languistics ever since elementary.
I speak English (of course I do), fluent Hindi and Finnish and Bengali and French and some words in Ancient Latin. I can speak Spanish, but I don't have the correct accent. I speak Russian and Arabic too.
I can speak Russian and British accent. I am really good at other languages!

There's no such thing as Ancient Latin. It's Latin, or Italian. Just Latin. Latin is what the Romans spoke; Italian is what Italy speaks. The Catholic Church is somewhere in the middle...
Well...
I myself am having a mental debate as to whether there's a difference between Latin and "Ancient" Latin, now.

Anyway, it's great y'all know so many different languages!! We have a wide variety of languages known in our group, so 'tis getting exciting, indeed! :)

Always wanted to go to the U.S.A. I've heard it snows there sometimes. Snow it good.
Sadly, I am stuck here in boring Australia.~ xD
Good thing is: We get too have bangers'n'mash and have amazing critters.
Bad thing is? Some creatures aren't too docile.~ xD

There should be no debate. You need not say 'Ancient' because there is no other Latin that it needs to be distinguished from.

Some of them. But, from around where I am, you'd (thankfully) only occasionally see the biggest types.
Sometimes, you might spy a big huntsman spider and be freaked out if you truly do hate spiders. But, since they're basically harmless to humans, they're ok to not hit with a shoe.
Although it might not show the complete hugeness of the spiders, this site still holds some interesting information:
