I'll probably end up voting for Astonishing X-Men because I truly love that series and will take any excuse to reread it (was going to do so tomorrow, on my day off...)

But Jim Henson's Tale of Sand did just win the Eisner award for best new graphic novel, so I'll go ahead and suggest that.

I just picked up Onward Towards Our Noble Deaths by Shigeru Mizuki and I'd love to read NonNonBa, which is considered to be Mizuki's definitive and best-loved work, now available in English for the first time.
