Sérgio | 462 comments Please suggest a graphic novel (only one) for our 9th Book Club discussion (during the month of September). You can send it until a week from now.

After that a poll will be set up during a week for us to decide what we will discuss next.

Suggestions so far:

Destination Moon
Astonishing X-Men, Vol. 1: Gifted
The Underwater Welder
Star Wars: Dark Empire Trilogy HC
Jerusalem: Chronicles from the Holy City
Tale of Sand
Jimmy Corrigan, the Smartest Kid on Earth
Midnight Nation
Superior
Domu: A Child's Dream
The Great Northern Brotherhood of Canadian Cartoonists
The Guild
Johnny the Homicidal Maniac: Director's Cut
Liberty Meadows Volume 1: Eden
NonNonBa
The Moon Moth
Athos in America

Poll closed. Thanks for the suggestions. :)

Jamie Lovett (jamielovett) | 17 comments I'll probably end up voting for Astonishing X-Men because I truly love that series and will take any excuse to reread it (was going to do so tomorrow, on my day off...)

But Jim Henson's Tale of Sand did just win the Eisner award for best new graphic novel, so I'll go ahead and suggest that.

Kevin Wright (kevin_wright) | 9 comments I just picked up Onward Towards Our Noble Deaths by Shigeru Mizuki and I'd love to read NonNonBa, which is considered to be Mizuki's definitive and best-loved work, now available in English for the first time.

Hi Kevin. I'm sorry but each member can only pick one book, you'll have to choose between those two.

Hmm. As I read his post he's suggesting NonNonBa (because he enjoyed Onward Towards Our Noble Deaths, which is by the same author). No?
