Susan the current Buttonwoods bookclub for July....so far entertaining....some interesting descriptions about growing up in Rhode Island

Coffeenoir (David I am enjoying the book so far, I am curious to find out how SSmithy got to where he is in his life.

Andrew Herren I just finished this book and loved it. There was much more to it than I expected from just reading the jacket.

Tom I just finished it this week myself. I think anyone who enjoys Irving or Updike will find it entertaining.

Andrew Herren I thought of Irving several times, especially when some of the weird things happened to Smithson. Enjoyed the book.

Rick Marchetti This is a great book, one of my all-time favorites. Smithy Ide is a very believable, very likable character. I also enjoyed "Traveler" and "Art in America", also by Mr. McLarty.

One of my favourites

Sarah A book that really surprised me. Not usually the kind of thing I would pick up. I really enjoyed the parts about growing up in Rhode Island (go RI!)
