I'm currently reading Wool Omnibus
into part #2 and it's starting to get intriguing. I'm not really sure what to expect from this strange world... has anyone here read it?
I haven't Lynxie, but I've seen in update feeds that quite a few people have been reading it...hope you enjoy it:)
Yeah, I too saw a lot of people in my update feeds reading it, and it was recommended by a friend. So I took the plunge. 16% in and it's grasped me, but I'm not sure where it will go. It certainly is big on world building which is mixed in with getting to know some of the characters. It's good.
I see you have the kindle edition Joanne...I just went to check the price on Amazon, and it's not available to us Aussies:(

Mish that is book one of the series and not the omnibusHere is a list of the books in the series - http://www.goodreads.com/series/70647...
I thought it must have been at least 4 of them Michael, as the total number of pages is 448 (about) against only 58 for book 1...I was adding them up, as it doesn't state in the link Mish gave, what book it is.
I was able to buy it in kindle format on Amazon. Here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008...It contains books 1-5
Yep, I'm reading it now. I have decided that Hugh is pretty mean. I am liking certain characters and they seem to get themselves into a bit of a pickle. It's good. Different.

Thanks:)

Thanks:)
Yes, they are short stories, but they do connect and go together... the same characters are in them, the previous knowledge you learn is vital to the next one and they do run one after the other... it does make them a little disjointed, but it's not too bad.I'd say give it a try for $6 or whatever it is at the moment on Amazon.
Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn I maybe read only 1/4 part of book but I loved from first pageI also just started just a few pages of The Murder Book

Well on her GR author page it's just Literature & Fiction.. She's won Romance awards for 2 of her novels - for Foreign fruit and The Last Letter from your Lover. The Girl you left behind is a touch historical fiction as is The Ship of Brides (WW1&2) So idk? Not chick lit even though some of the blurbs might suggest that..

Maybe just a little Brenda :D Currently reading Zed
which is a bit of a comic zombie story. It reminds me a bit of the new movie that's coming out shortly 'warm bodies' http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1588173/ if any of you have seen the shorts for that, you'll probably get what I mean.
Ok, so I'm reading Deadly Motive
which is a detective murder mystery or so the synopsis tells me. I'm about 10% in and it's pretty catchy so far. Have any of you read it?
At the rate I'm gobbling it up Brenda, I don't think you'll have to wait long. It's quite easy to read. Already over 1/4 of the way through :D
My review for psychological thriller The Suspect by Michael Robotham here .. http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/...
I am currently reading and EdMcBain classic that I borrowed from the Kindle Owners Lending Library which is free with the Amazon prime membership. The title is Cop Hater which is the first book on the 87th Precinct Series starring Steve Carella. I have read a lot of books on this police procedural series and I am looking forward to read all of them every month free using the Prime membership! Is anyone here familiar with the 87th Precinct Novels by EdMcBain?
