Yay, Stephanie! Our buddy reads are fun and you tend to read a bit faster just to see the others' spoilers. At least I do! ;-) But have no fear, we all read at our own pace and there are some reads that I'm way behind everyone else and others that I'm way ahead. It usually depends on my work schedule or just life getting ahead of my reading time! It's all good!! I'm sure we'll be reading City of Ashes soon!
And join in even if you've read the book already. Lots of us jump in and throw our thoughts out there. :-)

So, I know City of Bones starts tomorrow, yay! After City of Bones, I will be reading either
or
.Does anyone want to read one of these books?
If not, once I finish both of those, I will be starting one of these others books from the multiple series I'm in the middle of if anyone wants to begin any of them:
Oooo enjoy Under the Never Sky and Anna Dressed in Blood! I will read The Iron Daughter (actually reread), The Scorch Trials, Lies, or Sun Dwellers...but I think everyone wanted to wait a bit on Lies. We'll see what everyone else says.
David and I are going to do a buddy read of
within the next week too, and everyone is, of course, welcome to join us! I'll let you know exactly when we are starting, David has work to do first!

After I finish Anna and Never Sky, I will let you know and we can figure out which one we want to do next! :)
I was planning on reading the Girl in the clockwork Collar, but probably not until next week. I have to pick it up at the library first!
Is there a guess on when anyone's reading
? I really enjoyed reading Hunger with everyone and would love to read Lies with everyone too :)

I probably won't be ready for a couple weeks but we could always split it up into two buddy reads for the Speediest and the Slowpokes :)

We can start whenever. I have plenty of other books I can read in the meantime. So doesn't matter to me! :)

What did you think of the first Apocalypsis book? I'm 20% in and so far surprised it's gotten such high ratings. But I'm hoping it'll get better?

I think I gave it 3. I didn't understand the really high reviews but I didn't think it was bad either. I was just kind of meh through it.
David wrote: "Ok just checking. I'm very underwhelmed at this point but trying not to DNF it"
It was an ok read for me! It gets better and there are some interesting concepts, but yea, it is not the best book I've ever read!

I think I amped myself up for it because all I heard was people talking about how great it was and I was so excited to start it. And then I was just like oh, well, this is not really that exciting. About halfway through, I just let myself come to the conclusion that it wasn't going to be my favorite book ever and I started to enjoy it more. I liked the second half enough to give the next book a chance but I didn't feel it necessary to pick up the next one right away (obviously, I still haven't read it).
So we're still on goal for
tomorrow, right? Anything else lined up? Is Lies in 2 weeks? Did I see that? ;-)

Yep, I'm ready for it tomorrow!I put the books upcoming for me Karen. You can see if you're interested in any of those above. :)
Definitely Lies and Warpaint! I've read the others except The Iron Fey series. Maybe we can do Warpaint while waiting for David on Lies?
Also, we may want to continue with TMI as well. I can usually do a book in a weekend and one during the week. So Friday and Monday start dates work well for me! ;-)

So maybe next Friday we can start Warpaint? I'll read City of Bones this weekend and then probably Anna Dressed in Blood and Under the Sky during the week next week and then be ready for Warpaint on the weekend. :)Then we'll see if we're ready for Lies and, if not, find another!

I got an early start on COB. Sorry - I just was bored with everything else! I have several sequels to read but just couldn't get into them. Brooke, I have Vortex and could do a buddy read with you if you like.
I just finished
so will start City of Bones tonight!
Just call me slowpoke on weekdays! ;-P
And sounds good, Meaghan, on Warpaint for next Friday! We'll see where Jenny and David are at for Lies.

Heyyy, just wanted to let you all know that I've moved this topic into the Buddy Reads folder, where it belongs! It'll always stay at the top :)
Also, Heidi and I are trying to pull together a buddy read of the third book in the Rot & Ruin series, Flesh & Bone at some point in the near future, in case anyone wants to join! I'm a little behind and still need to read the second book, Dust & Decay, in case any wants to read with me ;)
Finally, Jenny, I'm ready to read Variant whenever you are, just let me know when it fits in your schedule!!

Yay! Perfect, I'll set up a thread for Variant right now and the we can read the sequel to Rot & Ruin whenever you're ready :) Thanks!!

You know, I've read the synopsis for this several times wondering if I'd like it. Still not sure, so I'll pass on the buddy read - but I'm really interested to hear what y'all think of it. I'll be following you!
I'm interested in angelfall but I probably need a week or so. Maybe we can start Monday if that works for you?
I added Variant to my to read but don't have time to read it yet unfortunately. I'm interested to see what you think tho!
I'm starting under the never sky tomorrow if anyone still hasn't read it (or wants to reread) and is interested in reading it with me. :)
