Fiona (Titch) Hunt (titch) Has finished Bloodstone - The Guardian's Curse - J. Michael Radcliffe Was a good story. Liked the characters and the way it moved along. Loved the 3 small short stories as well. Now I am going to read Falling - Cecilia Gray.

message 1916: by Fiona (Titch) (new)

Fiona (Titch) Hunt (titch) I've finished Falling - Cecilia Gray. I loved the characters that are like gods. How 1 person fell in love with an immortal (that she never knew), finding out her sister is a witch. Loved the Paranormal Romance style of it as well. I am listening to Great Expectations - Charles Dickens (my audio for the month) and reading Men at Work: Quick Read - Mike Gayle (A Quick Read) that hubby didn't fancy reading.

Beastly is one of my favorites. This one wasn't as good, but it was still enjoyable. I really love Alex Flinn's sleeping beauty re-telling- A Kiss in Time by Alex Flinn It's hilarious.

My favorite retelling I've read recently was Entwined by Heather Dixon The book was just beautiful. Its a retelling of the 12 Dancing Princesses. It also has one of the scariest, creepiest villians ever! It actually reminded me of the movie Coraline a little!

Also really liked Enchanted (Woodcutter Sisters #1) by Alethea Kontis . It starts out as a retelling of the Frog and the Princess, but has a mishmash of all kinds of fairy tales...I don't know how many but a lot! Its really funny and entertaining!

I also really enjoyed Beastly. A Kiss in Time is also one I've been meaning to read!

Finished The Truth About Letting Go by Leigh Talbert Moore and really loved it!

About halfway through reading The Kane Chronicles The Red Pyramid The Graphic Novel (The Kane Chronicles The Graphic Novel #1) by Rick Riordan Its kind of a quick reread for me. I need to read this one and the second book so I can FINALLY read The Serpent's Shadow! Love this series, and its really good as a graphic novel!

Also just started Love Unscripted (Love, #1) by Tina Reber and Illuminate (Gilded Wings, #1) by Aimee Agresti

Jen (jenwesner) | 1222 comments I need some junk food for my brain, so I'm starting Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins . I'm also a sucker for time travel, so I'm also starting Tempest (Tempest, #1) by Julie Cross . And I'll be finishing up Forbidden (The Books of Mortals, #1) by Ted Dekker . Hopefully that will get me through the weekend. After that, I think I may start Thomas Jefferson The Art of Power by Jon Meacham just to cleanse my palette before moving on to more dystopia.

Finally I am finding people with whom to compare notes! Either way is fine - here or on a new thread - and I'm assuming you mean
Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins - or are you reading any of the others?
