!! Hex the wonder dog! <3"Hex is the coolest dog ever! Though I still have a soft spot for Lola from the Slip trilogy, because she's like a little robotic Kero, so how could I not love her?
Oda wrote: "Was up way to long to finish,

next"I think Hollow City was the best of the books in that series.

I loved The Girl on the Train! I have high hopes for the movie adaptation!
I'm going to read the Raven cycle series and the daughter of smoke and bone series at some point this year. I'll wait for the Raven king to come out first though.
Finished:
LOVED IT. If any of you are looking for a really cool sci-fi book, definitely check it out. :D
And right now I'm reading:
About halfway through right now, and it's really addicting. It can be a little predictable/trope-y at times, but it's a fun read!
I managed to finnish listening to Death's Heretic a couple of days ago, and finally had a chance to finnish Elegy last night. Now I'm reading King's Folly.
Molly, I've just started and haven't gotten very far, but so far it hasn't grabbed me. I will keep you updated! :)
FINISHED
The Fairy Boy of Calton Hill for my read & Review and it started out well. There is a bit of different lingo being written by a Scottish author, but I have found that if I envision a Scottish accent (such as Sean Connery) when I read it that it makes the flow seamless. Once the book picked up around the 24-25% mark It was a very quick and exciting read. I loved all of the new creatures and implications of the tunnels. It did escalate quickly into dark events towards the end. I can't wait to read the next one. 4 stars for me.Also finished
Autobiography of a Geisha to continue on with my Asian/Geisha theme of late ;) Sayo Masuda has a VERY hard life from the time the book starts around the age of 6. She was a hot springs resorts geisha which was a lot closer to artistic prostitutes. I feel like Memoirs of a Geisha combined this and Geisha, a Life to come up with a story. There were some specific names such as Chiyo and events from this book that couldn't be found anywhere within Geisha, a Life. Also the intro by the translator mentions Memoirs of a Geisha specifically. By the age of 21 Masuda had experienced insane hardships. Not necessarily a happy book but still worth the read. 4 stars. STILL READING
Token Huntress for my pen pal read! reading at work
One Child: The Story of China's Most Radical Experiment which is very well researched and written so far. Also reading
The Perks of Being a Wallflower for a march standalone read and it is great so far. I am loving the letter style of writing.and just started
Red Queen for the March Series read.

I liked it over all. I found the romance kind of annoying at times, but it was still a fun story!
And now I am re-reading:

Although this wasn't a favorite I did enjoy it overall! I really want to get to Glass Sword but seem to be in a bit of a reading slump. More from being exhausted from work and too many things going on in my brain to focus. Hope I snap out of it this weekend! :)

I'm so glad you're liking Raven Boys.....I need to start my reread of the series in preparation for next month! :)
I am still working on my beta read but only read it when my mind is fresh and focused which hasn't been much lately. And the book is really good too!!
I have been peeking at
but since it's an ARC, I want to be focused as well. I'm listening to
which is about all my brain can grasp right now. It's a fun light sci-fi narrated by Wil Wheaton! *swoon*
I'm rereading
and only reading a few pages here and there. Thank goodness it's a reread so I don't have to focus too much. I really need to get out of this slump. :(
