Tracy Banghart (tracythewriter) | 13 comments I absolutely LOVED The Bitter Kingdom. Now I have to figure out what I want to take with me on vacation. My kindle is LOADED, but I need a paperback for the plane. Hmmm...

Caitlin (caitlinsiem) | 409 comments So I just finished Nil by Lynne Matson and that is a really awesome book! I loved it. I didn't get anything done today because I kept thinking about it and finally said screw it and finished the thing anyway. Seriously sucked me right in. So good.

Now I'm starting the Gemma Doyle trilogy. Book One is: A Great and Terrible Beauty by Libba Bray. I've heard great things. So I'm excited to read it.

Of Butterflies & Books I'm actually trying to finish a couple of books I promised myself I would read this summer, but I would say the two main books I am focusing on is Paper Towns and Cress

Catherine Bruno | 771 comments @Caitlin I heart the Gemma Doyle series. Still need to finish The Sweet Far Thing. But the first two books are great!

How are those books? It sounds interesting but read a lot of reviews stating it was way to similar to the hunger games.

Jen (jenwesner) | 1222 comments I picked up a book off my shelf (what a concept, read something I already own) - Trouble by Gary D. Schmidt - and it is a very interesting YA contemporary about racism in New England. I don't seem to want to pick it back up when I inevitably put it down - but once I do I'm grabbed again.
Also listening to Stolen Songbird (The Malediction Trilogy, #1) by Danielle L. Jensen and while I'm waffling on whether or not I really like it, I seem to be falling on the side of liking it. A lot.

just finished Sabriel (Abhorsen, #1) by Garth Nix
moving on to Rogue (Talon #2) by Julie Kagawa

Donna (BookDragonGirl) (bookdragongirl) So I was starting to read Jubilee Manor (Landry Park, #2) by Bethany Hagen and the Jenny said she read Under Different Stars (Kricket, #1) by Amy A. Bartol and I had that one and got curious. So I said I'll just read a few pages and see what it's like. It grabbed me and wouldn't let go! When I wasn't reading it I could stop thinking about it! I loved it and have the next book. Now I'm struggling with the fact that I should get back to Jubilee Manor (Landry Park, #2) by Bethany Hagen but I'm also dying to read Sea of Stars (Kricket, #2) by Amy A. Bartol !!! Ugh...the many problems of a book nerd. I always start series and then don't want to read anything else until I've finished the series :(

Well if you wait just a week or so, the last book in the series, Darken the Stars (Kricket, #3) by Amy A. Bartol will be out and you can marathon the whole series! I've pre-ordered it on audio and in print - Amazon just emailed me and said I'd have it on release day. I can't wait! I'm going to marathon the whole thing on audio so I can be ready for it on 9-5-15

Tommy Hancock (tommyhancock) | 957 comments I gave up on The Zodiac Legacy Convergence (Zodiac, #1) by Stan Lee . I wanted to love it, I really did. A superhero novel series for kids that Stan Lee helped put together, sprinkled with really, really good comic style art throughout. almost 200 pages in though and I was just bored the whole time :/

I started Hold Me Closer, Necromancer (Necromancer #1) by Lish McBride and am now a bit over halfway done with it. I am loving it WAY more than anticipated. Pleasant surprise for a book I picked up based strictly on thinking the cover was cool and having an interest in necromancy from video games I've played haha.

I'm really loving it.

I've enjoyed all the Hollows books I've read so far... It's only taken me so long to get to reading this one because I started getting them on audio before I had a Kindle, so want to continue getting them that way, but they often end up being quite expensive to buy on audio, and sometimes also tricky to get hold of.

I haven't got to the Lethifold. O.O I hope it doesn't give me nightmares! I get nightmares quite easily. :(

Nah, you should be OK. It was the timing of events while reading about it that I scared myself with.

At the time, I had a clock that spoke on the hour, but only if enough light reached the sensor. I'd forgotten the kitchen light was on, and it spoke just as I finnished reading the passage, telling me it was one in the morning, and making me jump. My jumping made the dog - who was laying beside me - jump too, which made the blanket slide a bit on my legs.

When you reach that part of the book, you should understand why it scared me.

@Catherine, it's actually really good if you don't compare it to Ready Player One. It had all the 80 references that I love so much!

I listened to it on audio and I have a huge crush on Wil Wheaton for some reason, so the experience of him as narrator was wonderful! ;)
