Two children find a baby hedgehog at the end of autumn. They realise that it is too small to survive the winter and smuggle it into their house without their parent's knowledge. They hide it under one of their beds, but have trouble when their dog, Max, realises that it is no longer the only animal in the house. Chaos ensues.
I am a mainstream and indie author, of various genres. My personal preference is children's fiction. I was first published aged 8 but had to wait for almost 40 years before being picked up by a mainstream publisher. In between I published short stories and poetry in many different magazines. Today, well past my sell-by date, I prefer to concentrate on Ebooks of which I have at present well over 30 from adult fact and fiction, poetry to children's and young adult fiction. My latest work is a joint author book in which US author, Al Molaison, and I share childhood memories of WWII from both sides of the Atlantic.
