I am a mainstream and indie author, of various genres. My personal preference is children's fiction.
I was first published aged 8 but had to wait for almost 40 years before being picked up by a mainstream publisher. In between I published short stories and poetry in many different magazines. Today, well past my sell-by date, I prefer to concentrate on Ebooks of which I have at present well over 30 from adult fact and fiction, poetry to children's and young adult fiction.
My latest work is a joint author book in which US author, Al Molaison, and I share childhood memories of WWII from both sides of the Atlantic.

But if I lose track of one thing I always have others awaiting attention. Also if the writing urge lessens I turn to painting to help relax. After a day or two when I finish a picture I am ready to get back to my writing.(less)
Rosemary J. Peel When creating fiction I enjoy getting to know new characters, which I usually do way before I begin to write the book.

A good speech from George Osborne today. But I would reply to him; surely if contingency plans were in place and, despite all that you said during the referendum campaign, the economy is strong enough to cope with the inevitable fluctuations why do we need a delay in invoking Article 50?
The referendum has caused divisions that need to be healed; delay in beginning the exiting process will only... Read more of this blog post »

An engaging collection of uniquely different poetry. Some poems take a bit of coming to grips with, but all are vibrant expressions of the emotions behind the words. Simply beautiful.

I loved the flow and pace of the writing. Although a new version of an old story the author presents a different slant by allowing the reader to engage with the classroom situation. The teacher/pupil discussion gives the tale a fresh, new and interes ...more
