I see your still enjoying the Baby-Sitters Club. You're kind of making me want to reread them! UGH! Shouldn't have sold them I guess...

Yeah, Jenny, I am.I can see why so many people loved them, and am glad I decided to give them a read. They're quite addictive, aren't they?
Now I just need the money to buy the rest of the series, so I can read them all...
Thanks for reading Slip, Brittany!
I am WAY behind on reading because we have so many friends/family who have been visiting us in Hawaii. I am slowly chugging through the last GoTs book, but I hope to get back to reading some YA soon!

Well I was audiobookin ready player one but something happened and it doesn't work anymore so I started audiobookin Anna and the French kiss and so far I like it. Still reading rot and ruin but haven't gotten far since we have been traveling, but I'm bout half way through
Just finished
. Didn't love it, but I think I'll start
tomorrow while my brain is still in that world.
Finished Beautiful Creatures and now I'm finishing up Rebel Angels (Gemma Doyle #2). Then I think I'm going to work on reading Warrior which is the sequel to Prophecy by Ellen Oh.
Reading
. I'm really excited 'cause the first book was really good with an amazing need-to-know-what-happens-next ending.

Finished up
on audio and it was great! Interesting combination of steampunk, zombies and flintlock fantasy. Kate Reading and Wil Wheaton narrated on audio (and Wheaton was far better than Reading).I bounced around for awhile for the next book but have settled on
primarily because Kate Rudd is narrating. I needed a good narrator more than a fantastic story. Also reading
in print (angsty YA contemporary, almost more trouble than it's worth) and
on my iPad (good but hard to get back into after putting it down).
I finished
and
over the weekend and both were a little mind twisting. I'm listening to
now and so far it's OK.
I liked but didn't love Steelheart, Tracy. A clever idea but I wasn't that attached to the characters. Hope you enjoy it more than me though!
I'm reading submissions for a writing conference I'm attending. Feels a little like homework, but interesting. I think I may steer toward another genre when I pick up the next book, though I did just snag a couple of YA fantasies.
I'm reading
which is the prequel to
series. It's about "first night" and SAM Imura just arrived (Tom and Benny Imura's older brother)!!

Tracy, I loved Steelheart, and the sequel Firefight. I did get much more attached to the MC in Firefight. Mainly I enjoy them for the story, though, the whole superhero element is fun :) They are just fun reads!

I didn't continue on. Too little time and too many books, so I'm being quite selective with the series I continue with (only the ones I really love). Let me know if you continue on and how the second book is if you do. If Jenny really loved it, I might have to change my mind and give it a try!

I thought this was a like not love as a book, but could totally picture it as a movie. The bank scene, the ending... I could just picture everything playing really well on the big screen.
Haven't read Firefight yet, it's on my "i'll read it someday but I don't have a burning desire to get to it right away" list
A girl amongst books, yay! We're almost at the same point in this series. I plan on finishing it this year :) I absolutely loved book 6 which I read yesterday :)
Irene, it's s total guilty pleasure of mine. I can't wait to finish the series so I can finally watch the TV Series..lol!!
Buddy read starting for

LOVE LOVE this trilogy so much too Jen. Love all of Elizabeth Hunter's books. She's brilliant!

I think much of this book is getting to know the MC so I'm hoping to like the second better. Although, I am really enjoying the story.
