Finished reading Dove Arising (Dove Chronicles, #1) by Karen Bao and I really liked it! The first half of it reminded me a LOT of Divergent, except on a Moon colony instead, but the second half was AWESOME, and I loved the ending!

Next up is Of Metal and Wishes (Of Metal and Wishes, #1) by Sarah Fine

Ohhhhh, I'm interested to know what you think. I really liked Gone Girl and keep wondering if I should pick up her other books.

I'm still trying to finish up The Body Electric by Beth Revis . I just haven't been drawn to it.

But... I rewatched the mini-series of The White Queen this week. I mostly had it on in the background while I worked in the evenings and freaking got hooked again. So tonight, I picked up The White Princess (The Cousins' War, #5) by Philippa Gregory again and am completely addicted all over again. I have a weird obsession with this time period. ;)

I just ordered my audio copy of The White Princess and am dying for it to arrive! It will come next week some time.

I wasn't meant to be able to order it yet, but we got some money back from the deposit on the old place, so hubby said I could have some of it for book money.

Andrea (alexandra14) | 218 comments Finished The One (The Selection, #3) by Kiera Cass it wasn't for me I even thought about leaving it and putting a DNF :/

Now I don't know what to read next.

message 12358: by Michelle (new)

Michelle @Andrea any particular genre you want to read next? I can offer recommendations.

Thanks. I just want to read something light and funny. I want to laugh a little :)

message 12360: by Michelle (new)

Michelle You should try Libba Bray's Beauty Queens. It is funny. Weird enough I don't read a lot of funny books even though I love to laugh.

message 12361: by Andrea (new)

Andrea (alexandra14) | 218 comments Thanks. I have already heard of it, but never paid it to much attention. Didn't knew it was in the humor genre.

message 12362: by Michelle (new)

Michelle Libba Bray has a distinct sense of humor show it shows in her books.
Also here are just some books that I would just recommend. Ruby Red (Precious Stone Trilogy, #1) by Kerstin Gier Incarnate (Newsoul, #1) by Jodi Meadows Heist Society (Heist Society, #1) by Ally Carter A Great and Terrible Beauty (Gemma Doyle, #1) by Libba Bray

Yay, Victoria!! It's soooo good! I have a feeling this is going to be a major reading day!!! And then it will be on to The King's Curse (The Cousins' War, #6) by Philippa Gregory which was one of my favorites.

And then Wolf Hall starts tomorrow night on TV. I read that one a month or two ago. I am officially in Tudor heaven!!

Mine is an abridged version for kids, so it's pretty easy read which I like. Don't think I'd make it through the original one :)

I feel weird because most of my friends loved it, and they can't wait for The Heir, but I couldn't care less if the author makes two, five or more books.

No, it's a romance story but it's a contemporary instead of Dystopian/Fantasy. It's about a girl Cath in her first year of college between meeting a boy named Levi and trying to finish her Simon Snow fanfiction. It's a cute read.

Anytime. I had a lot of fun reading it and I'm a tough sell when it comes to contemporaries.

Liz | 65 comments I started and finished A Beautiful Wedding (Beautiful, #2.5) by Jamie McGuire within 24 hours, I love this couple so much, and reading about their wedding was adorable. This is a novella that I completely loved beginning to end. I also just started reading Vanishing Girls by Lauren Oliver I'm about 20 pages in and I love it so far!

I love the Tudor period! Stone Age and Egyptian history are my all time favourite, but I find the Tudor period and Victorian times very interesting too.

I unfortunately couldn't get through Snow Like Ashes. Too many YA clichés and a painful love triangle.

But that just means I get to start The Forever Song (Blood of Eden, #3) by Julie Kagawa sooner, and it's already AMAZING :)

message 12391: by Irene (new)

Irene (raenne) @David - I still need to read book two in that series. The first one was really good! :)

I have a cold legacy but don't feel like reading it, and I wanted to reread Dorothy must die to see if I would like it this go round but don't really feel like it. I guess i am in a small reading slump
