Just finished The Final Descent (The Monstrumologist #4) by Rick Yancey and OH WOW. I'm kind of speechless! It was really good, I was completely glued, read it all in one day...but I guess I wasn't expecting it to quite go in that direction! Although it does make sense in a twisted kind of way, looking back on the series.

David and Heidi, thank you for recommending this series, overall it was AMAZING!!

Next I'm reading Rooms by Lauren Oliver

I just finished Talon (Talon, #1) by Julie Kagawa which was a Pick It For Me book. And so happy I read it. Very interesting concept although it was a bit predictable. I still really enjoyed it and will definately read the next one.

Ashley Marie Halfway through Rogue (Croak, #3) by Gina Damico and I don't want this trilogy to end!!

Planning to finish it in the next few days and get started on In the Garden of Beasts Love, Terror, and an American Family in Hitler's Berlin by Erik Larson

And still working on Nefertiti's Heart (Artifact Hunters, #1) by A.W. Exley as well, but my brain doesn't seem to be able to compute much aside from Rogue right now lol

message 10998: by Rebecca (new)

Rebecca McCray (RebPai) | 195 comments I just started reading The Cactus Killer by Jeremy Croston . It's a fantasy mystery, which should be entertaining. So far, I've met two werewolves and one vampire.

message 10999: by Ashley Marie (new)

Ashley Marie Not as into Nefertiti's Heart (Artifact Hunters, #1) by A.W. Exley as I hoped I'd be, it keeps trying to veer into romance novel territory when all I want is to stay on the trail of artifacts lol. The steampunk atmosphere is really neat too though, so it's decent so far.

Picked up In the Garden of Beasts Love, Terror, and an American Family in Hitler's Berlin by Erik Larson last night and he's basically still setting the scene of the main characters leaving Chicago to go to Berlin, but it sounds like it's going to be fascinating.
