yes, I tend to mark several books on goodreads as currently Reading but most of the time its more these book I plan to read. in the sense that I mostly only read 3 books at the same time(one in bed, two in the living room). Usually one book I read lots of chaters in and one I read slowly, and a Third I swallow(start and finish in same Reading).

Yesterday read
which was really awesome to get Malachi's perspective.
Also read
which I really liked, except for the ending...that ending was a little anticlimatic, but I will read the sequel, to see what happens. Its a cross between Pushing the Limits and The Darkest Minds.
Next is
in honor of CJ Redwine's Q&A this week!

I do the same thing. I add all the books I plan to read then I mark 'em off as I go.

high five, I thought I was the only one. it sometimes feels like lying, but mist of the time I finish a book and them go on to another book half an hour later, so its easier that way. This way I can just like you say mark finish when I logg back on and the book am currently Reading is alredy marked as currently Reading.

Oda - I definitely need to get my hands on The Bane Chronicles, I meant I didn't know there was a novella based after the Infernal Devices.. But yeah that's on my list.XD I do it a lot when I get a new library book, or books I'll load 'em all up and mark 'em down as I finish them... Seems to just make it go faster.

After the bridge hasent been so much talked about as the bane Chronicles, so I get that.
and yes, it kinda feels like its faster to check books as currently Reading a bit before you start them.

yes, thats the Down side, that you suddenly have so many currently Reading books, that you forget some of them.

I had The Lady Of The Rivers for Christmas... Really loving it! I plan to get the rest of the series as soon as I can, and read more of her books.
I am reading an early release offered free to Kindle Unlimited/Amazon Prime readers
and loving it. It is a thriller, not my usual dystopian or post apocalyptic genre. Very good book so far!
I am so excited! It is GAME DAY!! NFC Championship day in Seattle Century Link Field against the Green Bay Packers. GO SEAHAWKS!Sorry, guys, didn't know where to post this.

Good luck! I'm watching it too, just for fun :) We also have a Sports Addicts thread for more detailed sports talk.

Melinda wrote: "I'm reading partials... Not sure how I feel about the book yet though it's very slow paced"I did not love it like most others on her . It was a lot of talk and not enough action for me and the characters were a little one dimensional for my tastes.
OK peeps, so now that I'm sadly done with the dwellers and country series, :( should I read the boil series or slip series

I love the Slip series most of all, but the 3rd book of Brew is being released sooner. ;)

Victoria, I started watching The White Queen on Starz, and after the first episode bought
. Then after the TV series ended, bought
. And I guess that's when my addiction started. I read every book out of order (although they really are stand alone books so it didn't matter). Then ran through The Tudor Court until The King's Curse was released. Some I liked much better than the others. Didn't like The Kingmaker's Daughter as much, or The Other Queen. But loved all the others!
By the way, NICE hubby! :)

Just finished Clockwork Angel.... OH MY GOSH. Soon as I closed the cover (after getting frustrated at the lack of the short story promised inside near the end (there was none) I picked this sucker up:
Team Will!
I believe that's a certain edition, Storm. I have the original hardback of the book, and it has no short story in it either.
Jenny wrote: "I believe that's a certain edition, Storm. It even says on a little annoying permanent sticker that it was included on the front. Little frustrating but like I said it won't deter me from reading this series... And I do plan on buying the Bane Chronicles eventually anyway so it doesn't bug me THAT much. Just drives me crazy when a book promises something then doesn't deliver.
Jenny wrote: "Well that sucks! Sorry :("It's all good. XD; It's still able to give me the story I was looking for, so it can be overlooked.

Yeah, I know... I got lucky with my hubby; been married almost 12 years, and he still spoils me like he did when we were first together. He's even happy to support my book addiction, LOL!
I added the Tudor Court books to my to-read shelf, and The White Queen arrived today... Just in time too, since I finnished The Lady Of The Rivers early this morning. I loved the book, and can't wait to read more!

Victoria, I'm so excited that you have all those books to look forward to. When I finished the very last one, I was so sad that it was over.
I just found out that
is going to be BBC series so I bought that book last night. I already have
. I don't think anything can top The Cousin's War or The Tudor's Court, unless Philippa Gregory decides to stay in that time era and write another series. *fingers crossed* But I am still obsessed with that time period for some reason so am looking for more books of before, during, and right after King Henry VIII's era. Anyone else have suggestions?

Karen, Martin Lake has a new book out that I keep seeing ads for here on GR --
which might appeal to your love of Tudors?
Ohhhh.. And it's currently a GR's giveaway. I entered and added to my TBR list. Thanks Ashley!! :)
