3rd favorite Potter book for me(Behind HBP and POA), but it seems to be most people's favorite and to me it definitely marks a turning point for the series that took it from :) to :O!

Loved it also. Possibly my favorite read this year(It has a little competition though).
@Jenny I Feel Like I'm reading at a snail's pace compared to you lol :) I'm on page 80 of The Winner's Curse & loving it!

Harlee wrote: "I just got Cinder and I'm already in love with the cover!"That cover is amazing. The pages following it are pretty awesome as well.

LOL no worries Rose! I'm a speed reader, and when I'm really into a book (like this one) I just can't stop! Like Karen says, I eat books for breakfast :)

Y'know I wasn't the biggest fan of Cinder, story was great, but the slow startup had me dropping the series. It was good though, I just couldn't fall in love with the universe. But those covers are awesome.

I love sophie kinsellas standalones(dont really care for her shopaholic series). So thinking I will love this one.

I honestly think that's a fair criticism. The book wasn't without faults and I even found it very predictable. I loved the character and universe enough that it was still a 5-star for me, so if the universe didn't do it for you, I can completely understand your distaste.

I read cinder summer 2013, I liked it but was iffy about it at times. then I read scarlett and cress in february this year and after readng both I fell in love with the seres.
I geuss the series is one of those that has to be looked at as sereies, not books that are a part of the series.
meaning the books could have been better but as a seres its great. at least thats what I think.

The story was quite good, but I just have a hard time reading a series seeing each book as just the next step. I have to enjoy THAT story as it's own, I did enjoy the story, but I just don't think it's for me...
And that's coming from someone who loves the Cinderella story in general. But for me, I just couldn't get into it. But kudos to those who do enjoy it. I just don't see myself reading it again anytime soon.
Ummmm.....I think I'm reading too many books at once....shocker! I am currently reading
& very close to finishing that one, reading
for a buddy read with @Jenny & @Karen and LOVING this book! I'm also reading
for a work book club book and at page 110 about ready to nix it...just don't read it.

I'm reading
and though I'm not far into it, I like it a lot. It reminds me of We Were Liars and I love a good family drama/mystery/tragedy.

Wow, thank you for giving my debut novel a try! I had a lot to learn back then, but I hope you enjoy it and it gives you an idea of my evolution as an author :) Your support is appreciated!

Definietly adding Slip and Grip to my to read list for 2015.Finally getting back into:
Let me just say this:WILL.
I'm quite a way through book 11 of the Wheel Of Time series, so I'll hopefully have this series read by Christmas. Then I have some books lined up that I promised to read and review, followed by Slip and Grip, and then a couple more I promised to read and review; 1 is an R&R book from this group (which I'm going to be a bit late with the review for, I'm afraid) and the others I promised to read and review were direct requests from the authors due to my having read and reviewed books of theirs in the past.
Very interesting article! It appears if you are an adult who reads YA, you saved book publishing in 2014!

I'm reading
. From the reviews everyone likes Adele and Tristan, the main characters, but I'm rooting for Roc and Tawni!
