I think this may be tied for the the best book of 2014 for me.

Okay, this week I finished Hollow City (Miss Peregrine's Peculiar Children, #2) by Ransom Riggs which I thought was a really good sequel! Also finished Born at Midnight (Shadow Falls, #1) by C.C. Hunter and enjoyed it, especially some of the twists!

Just finished reading Time Burned by David Estes by our very own David Estes, and I LOVED this novella! Whipped right through it, it was perfect! Got sucked into the Chronos World!

In the middle of reading an ARC of Grip and its even better than Slip! I am LOVING it, and will finish really soon!

Next up is Isla and the Happily Ever After (Anna and the French Kiss, #3) by Stephanie Perkins

I'm in the middle of Time Burned by David Estes and loving it! And finished Grip which is definately my favorite of all of David's books!!!

I got almost zero reading time in this week. :( Hope to make up for it this weekend!!

Clark | 31 comments I just finished reading Hades (Halo, #2) by Alexandra Adornetto and I could not say enough words to describe how much I loved the book! I am currently reading Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson . I saw someone here on Goodreads write a very good review on it so I thought I would grab a copy and read it myself.

Cool!

I finished Grip and it was AMAZING!!! My favorite David Estes book yet, 5 stars for sure!

Now reading Isla and the Happily Ever After (Anna and the French Kiss, #3) by Stephanie Perkins and loving it! This one reminds me of Anna just a bit, but so far I like Josh better than Etienne!

Victoria Zigler (toriz) | 4472 comments I've hardly read at all in the past week or so, which is weird for me, but there you go. I'd hoped to make up for it this weekend, but the weekend is almost over and I've so far not done much reading. The little I did was as Beta reader for a fellow author who asked me to read a short story he's just finished for him. Hopefully I can make up for the lack of reading soonn, but in the meantime I'm still on the first book of the Wheel Of Time series.

I barely got any reading this past week, too, Victoria. :(

I read some last night but not as much as usual for a weekend. Hopefully today. :)

Daniel (pickyreader1) | 1925 comments Finished my re-read of The Darkest Minds (The Darkest Minds, #1) by Alexandra Bracken on the way back from music boot camp. Loved it. Review coming soon (finally).

Rose (The_Calm_Reader) (roselittlebookowl75) | 1372 comments If you all had to pick two signed books from David Estes, would it be Star Dwellers and Earth Dwellers, Brew & Boil, or Fire Country & Ice Country? Why would you choose the two books you chose? Input please!!!!!!

Oh, good question, Rose! And a tough one to answer!! I was lucky enough to grab his books at each signing offered so don't have to make that kind of decision. I have all his books so I'm getting his new ones, Brew and Boil. :)

The Star Dwellers (The Dwellers, #2) by David Estes The Earth Dwellers (The Dwellers, #4) by David Estes

Brew (Salem's Revenge, #1) by David Estes Boil (Salem's Revenge, #2) by David Estes

Fire Country (The Country Saga, #1) by David Estes Ice Country (The Country Saga, #2) by David Estes

I'm all about visual and seeing what they'd look like side by side.

Rose (The_Calm_Reader) (roselittlebookowl75) | 1372 comments @Karen I'm leaning towards Brew & Boil as I'm in LOVE with the covers! They are gorgeous! BUT....I also own the physical book of Moon Dwellers & would love to read & own Star & Earth Dwellers!

You are missing out Karen. I blame the time change for so many things (being late, falling asleep watching tv, and just generally being a sourpuss). It is mostly all BS of course but you only get to use the excuse for about the first week after the change so why not! :)

kynndra-jo (charlietanghoe) Reading The Retribution of Mara Dyer (Mara Dyer, #3) by Michelle Hodkin and Rootless (Rootless, #1) by Chris Howard .

Having a rough time getting in to Retribution but I'm sure it'll pick up (loved the other two). Rootless on the other hand is so good so far, loving it.

Since you have Moon Dwellers, I'd suggest Star Dwellers and Sun Dwellers. Then next time you're getting a pair, you could grab Fire Country and Ice Country, and the time after that you could go with Water & Storm Country and Earth Dwellers. That's what I'd do.

I really want to get to the Halo series - I tried it on audio but didn't like it at all. I think it's narrated by the author and she's just not fabulous - but I can get it in print from the library and need to do that soon. I'm into those paranormal YA romances right now.
