Daniel (pickyreader1) | 1925 comments I haven't read much of anything the last couple of days.. Just kind of regrouping from Percy Jackson.

I think I'll start something tomorrow, maybe The Hunt (The Hunt, #1) by Andrew Fukuda . I also want something light to read, so I want to get Swim the Fly (Swim the Fly, #1) by Don Calame , because it's apparently a funny novel that appeals to teenage boys.

Cindee | 331 comments Just finishing up the Benny Imura series Fire and Ash (Benny Imura, #4) by Jonathan Maberry its a good series. I enjoyed the first two books a lot, but found the third book religious situation a little bit much. However, because I've invested in three books I need to finalize the story before moving on. Book four still has that religious tone to it, but feel a good conclusion is coming.

message 8253: by Katie.g (new)

Katie.g @ Karen.

I really like Throne of Glass. It's a great story, really fub and hard to put down. If there was one thing I'd change though, I'd make Celaena a little less perfect.

Daniel (pickyreader1) | 1925 comments I read The Hunt (The Hunt, #1) by Andrew Fukuda .
Picked it up today, and finished in a couple of hours. I'll review it soon.
Good read overall, recommended.

Kelly | 75 comments I just finished Hexed (Hexed, #1) by Michelle Krys and enjoyed it. It was really cute and some of the reviews don't do it justice. I am now reading Alice in Zombieland (The White Rabbit Chronicles, #1) by Gena Showalter and am hooked!

I'm reading Fireblood (Fireblood, #1) by Trisha Wolfe , in preparation for the Q&A that's starting!

I finished Graduation Day (The Testing, #3) by Joelle Charbonneau and enjoyed the ending, although I had a few minor issues with it. Also finished Sever (The Chemical Garden, #3) by Lauren DeStefano which was a great ending to the trilogy!

Cindee | 331 comments Finally finished Rot and Ruin (Benny Imura, #1) by Jonathan Maberry Dust and Decay (Benny Imura, #2) by Jonathan Maberry Flesh and Bone (Benny Imura, #3) by Jonathan Maberry Fire and Ash (Benny Imura, #4) by Jonathan Maberry series. It was pretty decent for a zombie series, good enough to make me read all 4 of them. Now im onto The Impossible Knife of Memory by Laurie Halse Anderson im on chapter 7 kinda confused, seems a bit all over the place, hoping it was cause I started it late at night and I was to tired to start a new book,. So many people seem to love it.

It's very "guy-ish", so be warned. But the book was laugh-out-loud funny.
I'm sure it would be a hoot on audio.

Andrews The Dollanganger Series.. Flowers in the Attic (Dollanganger, #1) by V.C. Andrews Flowers In The Attic, Petals on the Wind (Dollanganger, #2) by V.C. Andrews Petals on the Wind, If There Be Thorns (Dollanganger, #3) by V.C. Andrews If there be Thorns, and currently I'm on Seeds of Yesterday (Dollanganger, #4) by V.C. Andrews Seeds of Yesterday. There is one more book yet Garden of Shadows (Dollanganger, #5) by V.C. Andrews Garden of Shadows and new coming out soon is Christopher's Diary Secrets of Foxworth (Dollanganger, #6) by V.C. Andrews Chris's POV!! Can't wait. I watched the movie when I was a kid and decided since VC's book have been popping up to read it. I guess they are filming or have filmed a new remake of Flowers in the Attic featuring Ellen Burstyn my fav actress!! and I just read a similar type story by Marta Tandori The Ties That Bind (A Prequel to Too Little, Too Late) by Marta Tandori The Ties that bind is the first book I believe, but she wrote a Novella called Forbidden although most of the book is featured in Too Little, Too Late (A Kate Stanton Mystery) by Marta Tandori Too Little, Too Late. Awesome Books ther is a third as well.

Didn't love the sequel but I think that had to do with the fact that I was in the mood for something with a little romance when I read it. It was well written and the author is quite creative.
