Bridget's Quiet Corner (chaptersandscreens) I am reading Pretty Little Liars (Pretty Little Liars, #1) by Sara Shepard ..The first book in the Pretty Little Liars series by Sara Shepard..I got hooked on the show, thinking I wouldn't when I first decided to at least attempt to watch it because people kept talking about it and I thought it would be some silly little show...Boy was I wrong! lol (Hey, I like it anyway!) :-)

I love the show(and I swear, giant crushes on half the cast is only part of the reason). I also loved the first book, but haven't read any of the other books yet.

I've heard some mixed things about this one, so I hope it's good. This series deserves a good ending.

OH ok, cool! Yeah, the 4th book is really depressing, so I think that might be part of the low reviews. But the story has me interested, even though there are some awful characters in it. Might be worth reading though, for closure!

Like you, I really liked the first 3 books - and that character dying was absolutely tragic! I haven't read the 4th book yet but I've heard it's not nearly as good. I think the MC is kind of whiny and annoying.

Oh I do hope this last book wraps things up in a satisfactory way. Would hate to be smacked with a bad ending especially given some previous experiences with the endings of other dystopian trilogies

I thought I remember you saying you were a fan of this one! Honestly, I didn't think the 4th one was nearly as bad as people say. I think it was just a matter of the book not meeting readers' expectations. I went in with no expectations and thought it was a very interesting read. It surprised me, had a ton of new worldbuilding (some of it not very realistic, but still entertaining), and the main character, while extremely hateable at times, certainly made things more complex than they needed to be! I'd say it's worth reading :)

I am with you! I had to push my way through book one. I did not like the diary entry style writing for one, the MC was just not likable to me what so ever. While the concept of the moon being hit and moving closer to the earth really intrigued me I just felt this book was dry without any action or anything pulling me to keep reading through.

It is VERY depressing. That's definitely a negative, although it felt real in a lot of ways which was a positive.

I would recommend Anna and the French Kiss Anna and the French Kiss (Anna and the French Kiss, #1) by Stephanie Perkins or Heist Society Heist Society (Heist Society, #1) by Ally Carter . Both are fun light reads :)
