Haha, like Kritika said usually they're just insults and it's a lot of the same words being used over and over––so hopefully you'll be able to catch on!

This one started out great, but the ending wasn't the best. I liked it enough to keep reading, though. I think the sequel is way better!

The Book Thief is a slow starter IMO but I loved it. I listened to the audio which was fantastic and really helped with the German pronunciations.

Ooh I really enjoyed the whole series, but mainly because of the world building and because the author completely remakes the main character in each book (you have to read it to see why), which I thought was really clever :) I don't know, not everyone loved it as much as me (at least based on the average ratings), but I thought it was a really awesome series!
