I like the cult thing to Dnicole. It's interesting to see how or why people become a part of such things. I often think how powerful Charles Manson would have been if he had gotten into politics instead of murder.

Its amazing how humans as a species are like sheep. I'm sure it has some kind of evolutionary purpose. I think it has to do with the fact that in old times, we were dependent on each other for survival. We still are, come to think of it! So we tend to just toe the line and agree a lot. Some are born leaders, so lead the flock. Its really kind of scary if you start thinking about it!

Awesome book - it really made me think about the little things and how the smallest compliment or friendly smile might make a difference to someone.

When you put forth positive energy into the universe, no matter how small, its amazing what it accomplishes!! Same goes for negative energy, which is so easy to do, but it also has consequences we can't possibly comprehend. That's why its to our own benefit to try to be positive as much as possible :)

:) I'm not surprised, Karen! I have issues with it occasionally, I am normally a pretty positive person, but I also like to whine ;)

Belkis (bminaya) | 133 comments I finished Pivot Point (Pivot Point, #1) by Kasie West earlier and loved it! What a thrilling ride all the way through. It completely kept me intrigued from the first page to the last. Loved the unique storyline. Now I'm starting Rock Bottom (Tristan & Danika, #2) by R.K. Lilley . I found it very predictable myself. Nothing special. I am not really into romances so you have to really do something different to impress me (i.e. Anna and the French Kiss).

I know, it took me a long time to finally get to it too! First I wanted to wait until all of the books were out and then I got sidetracked LOL! Well at least now they're all out so we won't have to wait around. We can just keep going until the end of the series :)

Oh, Rose, you will LOVE it!! It takes a little bit to get into, but it is such an AMAZING story! I still need to see the movie, it looks so good!

And I don't know if I introduced you to everyone--EVERYONE, this is my real life friend, Rose, our boys are the same age :) And I used to work with her husband, Oscar, who is seriously one of the nicest men I have ever met in my life!
