Will I need to read the Pretty Little Liars books in order for this to make sense?

I'm definitely going to read the first four books, but there are 12 books in the series, will I need to read the rest of the books before I start the Lying Game? Will it not matter or will I get confused? Thank-you!
No this is a different series, different story,characters, locations u dont have to read PLL to follow.
No you do not need to read Pretty Little Liars to read this seires. I didn't read PLL before I read this and it made sense to me. This is a different story about different characters.
