Our July Book Club episode, with our wrap up of Leviathan Wakes, will be released next Friday.

Also, be sure to check out the "Kill Decision Giveaway" thread for your chance to win a personalized copy of Suarez' latest book!

Bram (bramhendriks) Ah, thanks for the info. I was looking for the second part with the wrap up. Maybe it is just me, but it is a bit confusing though.

Is there maybe a schedule of any kind where we can check what to expect?

Mohrravvian | 99 comments Is this meant to even out the distribution of episodes so that they occur roughly weekly? If so, I'm interested to see how it goes. :)

Mohrravvian | 99 comments And by the way, great interview and episode!

Art | 192 comments I too am a little confused about how and when the shows are getting released. But I guess it will settle down into a pattern as they experiment with new ways of doing it. It would be nice to get a weekly S&L fix but I hope this doesn't spell an end for the audio shows. I love the video shows but like the freer more conversational style of the audio ones.

That's the plan! Each week a new episode will be posted, alternating between the main show, where we do interviews and book news, and the book club, with the kick-off/wrap-up discussions and reader feedback.

That way viewers who are perhaps behind on the reading, or have decided to Lem a book that month, can still watch the interviews without fear of spoilers, and the book discussions can be meatier and include more from everyone here on GoodReads.

Hope that helps clear things up!

Shaline Lopez | 42 comments I should have checked here earlier, I spent half the day refreshing YouTube for the second half of the show :P. I hope the weekly videos don't bode ill for the audio show; it's still my favorite.

So, just to see if I understand correctly:
July 27: Leviathan Wakes wrap up.
August 3: News and Author Interview.
August 10: August Book kick off.

Rasnac | 336 comments Tom, Veronica I don't want to scare you guys but I noticed something: when the interview began, Mr.Suarez(or the evil artificial intellegence who assumed his identity)said he will see how the interview goes before sending the killer drone, but in the end he did not say that he won't send it. And when Tom thanked him for not deciding to killing you guys and he just replied "Thanks for having me".

So, assuming you both are still with us, I must warn you that there is a good chance that a killer drone is after you guys. Good luck! :D

1. Where would the winner put them all?
2. He can't have my copies.
3. How about just 1 copy of each?

Kris (kvolk) I thought Daniel Suarez was a thoughtful fun interview. I am really enjoying Kill Decision so far! I like the flow of the show with out the book talk, good move to separate them, and it was nice to see a wide shot of the set. I think facing the interviewee was a more comfortable and natural looking way to conduct the interview as well. Fun show keep it coming!!

Gordon McLeod (mcleodg) | 348 comments That was a fantastic interview. I've never read any of Daniel Suarez's work, but I've added Daemon to my Kindle, so that will change soonish, as soon as I work through some of my ever-expanding to-read list.

I also wanted to comment on the look of the show. This episode in particular stood out really nicely. I loved all the new camera angles and views of the sets this time around. The whole episode seemed a lot more varied and colorful.

Ruth (tilltab) Ashworth | 2218 comments I really enjoyed this episode, and I am loving the new format. I'm really interested in Daniel Suarez's books now. :D

David Sven (gorro) | 1582 comments Great show. Daniel Suarez interview was great and helped me decide what to read till next month's pick.
Enjoyed Aaron's picture review as usual - they must take some time to put together.

P. Aaron Potter (paaronpotter) | 585 comments Less than you might think, David. I'm too lazy for art. :)

message 16: by Robert (new)

Robert Collins I enjoyed the show as well. Mr. Suarez had a great sense of humor. The picture reviews are fun.

Splitting the episodes is working for me. It feels like the pace is crisper. Each part has its own feel, and the discussion on the book club book is longer without bumping into everything else.
