Dawn (dawnv) | 4058 comments This year is moving along so quickly and I have to also say this year has brought some really interesting reading choices; new genre's, new authors, etc.

For me I think my top five, in no particular order are:

The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss
Hidden by Kelley Armstrong
The Wedding or Ransom by Julie Garwood
The Mad, Bad Duke by Jennifer Ashley
Enslave Me Sweetly by Gena Showalter

The Name of the Wind (The Kingkiller Chronicle, #1) by Patrick Rothfuss Hidden (Otherworld Novella 10.5) by Kelley Armstrong The Wedding (Lairds' Fiancées, #2) by Julie Garwood Ransom (Highlands' Lairds, #2) by Julie Garwood The Mad, Bad Duke (Nvengaria, #2) by Jennifer Ashley Enslave Me Sweetly (Alien Huntress, #2) by Gena Showalter

Now I am wondering what has been your favorite books that you have read so far in 2012 (they do not have to be books published this year)?

Milan is definitely one of my favourite authors at the moment. Great writing that carries you along. I think Kim Harrison did a great job on Pale Demon considering just how much info she managed to pack in there! I find I need to read The Hollows books at least twice to pick up on all the nuances. The Kate Daniels series by Ilona Andrews is also a great series... I might edit my post and add Magic Slays... heehee
