Trying to find the name of a YA novel written post 2000 - similar style to Kevin Brooks/ Melvin Burgess (gritty realism for teens) The plot followed a mother and son fleeing their abusive home life to live with Grandparents. They are followed by the father, with bloody consequences. Can anybody help?!
