I loved it too!! The movie was good but I thought the book was better!

I'm so confused about it! I had great expectations for it, but it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. It is very average. I haven't finished it but I would give it a 3 star already.

While reading CP, I realized one thing, I don't care at all dor the main plot of The infernal devices. To be honest, there were parts in CP (and even more in CA) that bored me. But I was so interested in the chacarcters that it almost didn't matter to me. I looooove Will and he's always be my favorite character of the series because I've felt a connection to him from the very beginning but I came o really like most of the others characters too, specially Magnus, and to be honest, while reading City of bones, Clockwork Angel and some quotes of him I've read online from the rest of the Mortal instruments series, I didn't understood why so many people loved im but Clockwork Prince made me, how can say this....it made see him for the first time and now I love him and while I love Will and Jem's frienship, I feel that Magnus and Will's frienship is so underated. I also really liked Gabriel, a character that stood out in my opinion because his flaws weren't as nobles as the ones of most other characters. I also really liked Gideon. Ans while there was a few scenes in CP and Clockworkrincess where Jem made me really mad, I grew to really like him and while I didn't always 'felt'' Tessa's connection to im, there were also a few moments where I really liked them together.
And I cried..like a baby, just like I cried in Clockwork prince.I already k ewthe ending but I cried anyway, and I cried in a lot of other chapters. And I dont cry pften when I read a book.
So in the end I would give this book 4.5. In some ways, I liked it ever more that Clockwork prince but the plot just didn't grapped me as much and even more than that, it almost dissapointed me. Also, I never really grew to care for Charlotte wich I think it's a shame because she's such an important character and they're nothing wrong with her. But in the end of the day, the characters and their journey will always stay with me.
And I just started

I'm now reading,

Addictive isn't it? :) I love those books. hehe

I love what you said at the start...how the book broke your heart, put it together again, and broke it again. I felt the same way about that and how my major love or these books came from loving the characters' personal stories , not their fight with Mortmain. I agree about the importance of Magnus' friendship. I wish there was more in the epilogue about him and I hope maybe in the next Mortal Instruments books we will see his friendship with Tessa more.

I've been having this contemporary reading marathon these days. Anyways, yes they are indeed addictive however I didn't love it as much as I expected to. I did like it though, it's still a good and enjoyable read. But I think I'm loving Hopeless. :)

After this I need more light and sweet...any suggestions?

Moving on to

I finished it yesterday only to find out that

*cue fangirl screaming*

I'm all for natural girl, who don't care about the way they look and I'm all for girls who know how to use their but I hate how girls who aren't totally natural are always portrayed as superficial, stupid and annoying. Just because a girl wears makeup or like to shop doesn't mean she's evil....I wish more authors would writte female characters that aren't totally unidimensional...
Anyway, I did enjoyed the book but I didn't really care for the characters.
I'm about to start

Haha, which team are you ? I hope the paperback's already released. Otherwise I have to wait for that to come out..

team aspen so far

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it. It's quite an easy read. I almost gave it 4 stars but the number of times of times where I was angry surpassed all the positives things I got from this book so in the end I gave it 3 stars.I really need to pick something good from my shelf to get over this book.

I have literally been staring at it on my bookshelf since the day I rushed to Indigo to buy it.

I'm at page 135, you ? I'm not on Teams anymore, this sucks. The first two books were good, but this.. Agh.

I've liked the Shadow Falls series even though the main character can be really annoying. I'm nervous about the last book, because I dont think the love triangle gets resolved like I want it to be.

Honestly, I don't know if Kelsey deserves either guy. These books are just so tedious to read.

Gonna start

I see that Cloak and Dagger doesn't have a lot of reviews. How did you come across it?

Who do you want her to end up with?

Well, I read some reviews and the last book has her ending up with the person I don't want her with. (view spoiler) ["br"]>["br"]>

As you read the series more, both Lucas and Derek do things that kind of make them jerks, but I guess I'm more understanding about Derek.

Yes, it's a ya thing...lol! But I think it may be a fey thing too.
