Marie | 257 comments I'm slowly getting out of my reading slump. Finally! I'm still reading This is Not a Test by Courtney Summers and it's really good. I've always wanted to read a book with a concept like this one.

Ten Tiny Breaths (Ten Tiny Breaths, #1) by K.A. Tucker was so awesome! Loved that book! The female characters have a really good chemistry and Trent...my heart melted for Trent!

Tati Right now, I'm reading Hidden (Firelight, #3) by Sophie Jordan and it's action-packed from the start!

I'm also reading Everneath (Everneath, #1) by Brodi Ashton , and liking it.

Katy | 357 comments I'm currently reading The Fault in Our Stars but it's the collectors edition. I'm liking it so far :) The Fault in Our Stars by John Green

message 912: by Marie (new)

Marie | 257 comments Is there anything new in the collectors edition?

message 913: by Katy (new)

Katy | 357 comments From what I can tell with the collectors edition is it's just a Q & A with the author at the end of the book. But I haven't read the book before so I don't know if he added more things into the story, but I have a feeling it's just the Q & A with John Green

message 914: by Marie (new)

Marie | 257 comments Q & A with the author? I like those. I'll probably buy this edition then since I haven't bought this book yet ;)

message 915: by Katy (new)

Katy | 357 comments I'm only a few pages in, but I really like this book so far. I think John Green is becoming one of my new favorite authors

message 916: by Marie (new)

Marie | 257 comments I've only read a 2 books of him yet but I really loved on of them and was had mixed thoughts on the other. I love his videos on youtube.

I've just finished The Hunt (The Hunt, #1) by Andrew Fukuda and I really loved it. Very exiting and entertaning and while I saw the ending coming, I loved it.

I really don't know what book I should read next. Any suggestions?

Hmmm..it depends on what type of book you feel like reading? Dystopian, paranormal, realistic, romantic?

message 918: by Marie (new)

Marie | 257 comments I like a little bit of everything. I think what I'm looking foreward these days is a book with a good twists or/and that'll leave me wanting for more once it's over ;)

Rachmi | 4882 comments I like a little bit of everything. I think what I'm looking foreward these days is a book with a good twists or/and that'll leave me wanting for more once it's over ;)

Try Want by Stephanie Lawton it's contemporary romance but it has a good twits and surprises. When I read it I couldn't predict where the story goes.

Hmmm...well, you've already read Shatter Me. You could try the sequel, Unravel Me. It was awesome! A couple of major twists!

Or you could try Shadow and Bone...I remember at had a real game changer in it.

Or Hopeless which is really emotional, but alo has a couple surprises.

message 921: by Marie (new)

Marie | 257 comments I'll definively check Want Rachmi, I've heard about this book last year but I totally forgot about it!

And I'll read Unravel Me but I think I'll probably wait for the paperpack since I was a little dissapointed with Shatter me and I'm really not a fan of one of the characters. Maybe I'll borrow it.

I've read Shadow and Bone last year and really liked it.

I've been hearing a lot about Hopeless these past days and to be honest, I wasn't looking forward to read it but I'm getting more and more curious about it. If they have it at my bookstore next time I go, I'm pretty sure I'll buy it!

Also, I've just started The Prey (The Hunt, #2) by Andrew Fukuda . It's been a long time since I've stated a sequel just after I've finished the first book in a serie but I enjoyed The hunt so much and since I already had The Prey on my shelf, I couldn't resist, I was too curious!

The Pretty Little Liars series is a good one with good twists and they will leave you wanting more by the end of each book

message 925: by Tati (new)

Tati How did you like Immortal Beloved?

message 926: by Greta (new)

Greta (goodreadsgreta) | 4545 comments i liked it, but i didnt love it. i would probably be interested in book 2 . there wasnt a lot of action in the first book, but i can see how the story has potential. plus i thought the main character was pretty funny .

message 927: by Ivanna (new)

Ivanna (ivannarazote) | 195 comments I'm currently reading Neverfall (Everneath, #1.5) by Brodi Ashton , I'm actually struggling with it. I had the same experience with Everneath (Everneath, #1) by Brodi Ashton .

message 928: by Tati (new)

Tati I'm reading Everneath (Everneath, #1) by Brodi Ashton , and I'm enjoying it so far. I'm also reading Boundless (Unearthly, #3) by Cynthia Hand and have just got to the climax of the story.

Ivanna (ivannarazote) | 195 comments I actually got Everneath (Everneath, #1) by Brodi Ashton due to the raves it's been getting, maybe it didn't just work for me.

Tati Ivanna wrote: "I actually got Everneath (Everneath, #1) by Brodi Ashton due to the raves it's been getting, maybe it didn't just work for me."

I hate it when that happens, everyone is so enthusiastic about the book and you can't see what's so good about it. Happened to me a couple days ago

message 931: by Ivanna (new)

Ivanna (ivannarazote) | 195 comments It felt like I'm not normal, haha. I also hate being stuck on a reading slump, having read books consecutively that you didn't like.

message 932: by Tati (new)

Tati Exactly!

About the reading slump, if I don't get into a book, I simply give it up, with no second thoughts. I have loads of books to read, so I don't make myself read something I'm not liking.

message 933: by Ivanna (new)

Ivanna (ivannarazote) | 195 comments I actually learned my lesson, I usually hate giving up on books that I already started reading. But now, I only read books that I could really get into.

message 934: by Greta (last edited Feb 10, 2013 12:41PM) (new)

Greta (goodreadsgreta) | 4545 comments Ivanna...too bad about Everneath (Everneath, #1) by Brodi Ashton :( I almost gave up on it myself, but the ending redeemed it for me.

I'm reading The Athena Effect (based on your recommendation) and loving it so far :)

message 935: by Ivanna (new)

Ivanna (ivannarazote) | 195 comments I also felt the same way about Everneath, I like how everything ended which made me want to read Neverfall. I just finished reading it, I guess it's safe to say that this series didn't really work out for me. I'm not so sure if I would get around reading Everbound - maybe sometime but it's not a priority.

Let me know what you think of The Athena Effect, I really enjoyed it.

The Athena Effect was a good read, fast-paced, easy read!

Now I'm reading Altered (Altered, #1) by Jennifer Rush which reminds me a little of the Bourne Identity.

i keep considering that one... but there is just something about a premise where romeo and juliet are not right for each other that seems wrong

Tati That was another book that I couldn't finish...

message 947: by Greta (last edited Feb 12, 2013 11:00AM) (new)

Greta (goodreadsgreta) | 4545 comments i feel strangely between books at the moment. i finished Altered (Altered, #1) by Jennifer Rush last night, and it was such a fast, good read. This week's story-telling challenge is to read a "kiss on the cover" book. anyone got suggestions? and it actually can count also for the February Love challenge AND for the Group Stat challenge.

message 948: by Marie (new)

Marie | 257 comments I just finished The Prey (The Hunt, #2) by Andrew Fukuda and WOW. I don't think I've ever felt so many different emotions that I did while reading the last 30 pages of that book.

I'm about to (finally!) start Bloodlines (Bloodlines, #1) by Richelle Mead

Erin, I found John Green Vlogs on YouTube where he reads chapters one and two. It really is good stuff. I might have to continue, despite my fears.
