I saw a book of warm bodies at NBS SM Megamall. I think it's around Php 600.00."

Aww, that's expensive. Is it on paperback?

Tati Today I started The Raven Boys (Raven Cycle, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater

Looking good so far!

message 803: by Greta (new)

Greta (goodreadsgreta) | 4545 comments I really liked it! She's another really beautiful writer. I couldn't really decide between Gurnsey and Adam. I loved them both!

message 804: by Tati (new)

Tati I loved her Scorpio Races, and couldn't believe it is a stand alone... It deserves a sequel.

message 805: by Greta (new)

Greta (goodreadsgreta) | 4545 comments That's on my TBR list. I didn't realize it was a stand alone. I read Lament The Faerie Queen's Deception (Books of Faerie, #1) by Maggie Stiefvater which is also a stand alone. It's a but bittersweet, but I liked it a lot!

Tati Just looked at Lament, and according to this: http://www.goodreads.com/series/45690...

it's a series of books :)

the problem of really good stand alone books is that they leave you wanting more...

Reading The Giver and The Bar Code Tattoo. Both are very good!

message 811: by Greta (new)

Greta (goodreadsgreta) | 4545 comments I've never read either of those, but the Giver is considered a classic, right?

message 812: by Jonababez (new)

Jonababez | 2453 comments The Giver is really good in a classic way. You should read it too. Definitely worth the time.

message 835: by Erin (new)

Erin Latimer | 73 comments Is Warm Bodies that zombie love story? The movie looks funny...hopefully the book is funny, 'cause I can't see myself enjoying a SERIOUS zombie love story, ick.

message 836: by Greta (new)

Greta (goodreadsgreta) | 4545 comments Warm Bodies ...i wouldn't call it laugh out loud funny, but it is kind of quirky.

message 837: by Angela (new)

Angela | 520 comments I honestly dont really know how to describe warm bodies. It's not serious serious, but its also a love story. its cute and funny at the same time.

Kyra Finished Once Upon a River by Bonnie Jo Campbell , currently reading Angel (Angel, #1) by L.A. Weatherly . I hope it's not one of those typical paranormal romance books.

Kirsten (kielianne) I am currently about half way through:
Pure (Pure, #1) by Julianna Baggott Talented (Talented Saga #1) by Sophie Davis Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion
I am enjoying them all so far, but I really need to get a couple finished so I am not reading so many at once. It is driving me batty. lol

(EDIT: oh & yup these are the same three books I mentioned in my Jan 19th update in this thread on page 16, oh dear lol)

I loved The Demon King, but haven't had a chance to continue with the series (even though The Exiled Queen [#2] and the Gray Wolf Throne[#3] have been on my TBR bookshelf for awhile now). I am reading Warm Bodies now, can't wait for the movie either.

message 842: by Greta (new)

Greta (goodreadsgreta) | 4545 comments Kirsten, I'm just finishing up with Warm Bodies. My feelings about it are kind of all over the place!
