Currently reading Scarlet, so far it is good, but i had to put it down due to finals :( they suck.. i don't like putting a book down.
Well I'll start reading The Catcher in the Rye this weekend...yu know, school and stuff...not really looking forward to it to be honest
in the mood to reread Harry Potter so that is what I'm gonna do
I miss Hogwarts too. But I'll reread next year.Now I'm on book three of the Techno Shaman series. Shaman Sister Sorceress. Love it so far. 99¢ for the first three books!

Just started The Tale of Atlantis. I've only heard good things about it, so I brought it up from my TBR list and bought it.Great adventure novel with archaeology, great mythological characters and Atlantis. A combination that's keeping me up very, very late these days :)
The Infinite Sea (part 2 of the Fifth Wave). It's good so far. The first few pages had me clutching the sides of my face, going 'Noooooooo!' That's always a good sign :)

Wayward by Blake Crouch. It's not young adult and it's the second book in the trilogy.

There's a really big common misconception with young adult readers and adult books; they're not really that scary unless you're reading horror. And even then, some books in that genre shouldn't even be in it.
Like Joe Hill's Horns isn't scary at all. Stephen King's earlier books can be considered horror, but his Dark Tower books aren't. Same with Dean Koontz; his books are more mystery/thriller.

I hate when books are billed as horror but then aren't actually scary! I used to really like Richard Laymon's books because they actually scared me. Thrillers can be good though!

Most of the time, I prefer thrillers over horror. There are too many horror authors who don't understand how to write horror and just put in all this stuff for shock value.
I'm completely obsessed with Blake Crouch at the moment. His books are really good.
Sarah, it's hardcore science fiction, but it reads just like a chicklit novel - not kidding! It was also nominated for the goodreads choice award 2014, don't know if it won though :)

The only books I didn't really care for was the Andrew/Luther trilogy. It was too clunky and not really structured all that well. Abandon and Snowbound were AMAZNIG; especially Abandon. The book in his Wayward Pines trilogy, Pines, was good as well.
I reviewed Abandon, but I don't think I reviewed Snowbound. I haven't put my review of Pines up yet because I'm waiting to finish the trilogy first and get all my notes squared away.
Heather, Why? It just means it's really easy to read, lots if humour and written like a diary. So go ahead:) Really fast paced as well :)

I'm reading "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo". I love it so far. Smart writing. :)
That book is AMAZING! Twisted, but amazing. I love both movie versions, too. I'm hoping to read the last two books this year as well. My current read is: Lee Child's Tripwire.
Just finished Legend (I don't get the hype) and about to start The Silver Blade by Sally Gardner.

Switched from The Silver Blade to Gone Girl. I'm finishing my last three books anyway, but I want to read this sooo badly.
I am reading The Canterbury Tales (again) for university and Eragon.
Just finished Gone Girl (review will be posted Here.)And now I'm going to continue The Silver Blade. I loved The Red Necklace (my review) and can't wait to see how the story continues.
