Jalyn (jalynnie) | 3827 comments I'm trying to finish up Timeless (Timeless, #1) by Alexandra Monir before I move on to Crushed by K.C. Blake and Blood Heavy by S.L.J. Shortt so I can finally do a buddy read. The first book is part of a Pick it 4 Me challenge and the last two I need to review, but as soon as I'm done with them I'm jumping in here!! I was so excited to join this group and it's killing me that I haven't been able to participate yet!!

Candice Lugo (candicereads) | 1 comments I've just finished reading Tiger Lily by Jodi Lynn Anderson and I've got to say, it's a heartbreaking-ly beautiful book. I just love it to bits. I'm still not over it. But I have to let go, as sad as it may be, just like Peter and Tiger Lily.. So I'm currently reading Defiance (Defiance, #1) by C.J. Redwine hope it's just as good.

Have you read the Nightshade series??

message 238: by Marie (new)

Marie | 257 comments No I haven't. Everyone tell me that it's a great serie but I never really felt like reading it. But since I'm really enjoying Rift, I think I'll probably change my mind and read it.

Have you read it?

Yes, I've read the first book Nightshade, and it's really good. But I can't finish the next book.

message 240: by Night Owl (new)

Night Owl Reader (allnightreading) In the last hundred or so pages of Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult , so I added more books to the pile of currently reading!

Those books are as follow:
An Abundance of Katherines by John Green , listening to the audio discs of Paper Towns by John Green (about halfway through, and want the book already), and Catching Fire (The Hunger Games, #2) by Suzanne Collins

Yea, I never actually finished the series! I tried reading Catching Fire before, but I don't know, it didn't grab my attention! So trying again, it's grabbing my attention a little bit better this time! An Abundance of Katherines is entertaining to read, but I feel that I like Paper Towns better so far!

Maybe that's the truth! LOL!
I also like to read contemporary novels lately. ;)

message 244: by Night Owl (new)

Night Owl Reader (allnightreading) That doesn't give me a lot of option though, if all I like is YA and contemporary!

I am thinking that my taste in books changed throughout the years as well! Because I did love the book The Giver when I was in middle school and high school, and that was a dystopian novel, but I find myself unable to read through it anymore! It maybe not that I never liked those kind of books, but my taste simply changed.

hmmm...good point! I don't know, I may find that some dystopian novels are good, there's always that exception, right? So I want to try and finish the HG series, if not! I will look for spoilers online! :P
