I was too. I'm not going to say anything else and spoil it for you. There seems to be a clear divide between people liking it and hating it!

She normally comes at 9, but i only just found out, which was annoying.
Glad she's not coming though. :)
I can't wait to start! Everyone i've talked too has said how much they've loved Legend.
It would have been nice if they had told you earlier! I will have to read my review of legend to try and remember what happened!

Hey guys! I am new to the group and are currently reading a few things:Crewel by Gennifer Albin - which is amazing!
The Faceless Ones - Derek Landy - yes, it sounds lame but is actually good!
and
Rose by Any Other Name by Maureen McCarthy - which is really dull so far and I might not bother finishing it!
Has anyone read any of them? (P.S. Pls don't spoil anything for me, but I happy to discuss!) :)

Currently reading Flat-Out Love by Jessica Park.. I don't know, so far I'm a bit bored. Hopefully, it will get better. :)
Just finished
which wasnot that great. It was easy enough to read, but it felt like a combination of every fairy story I've ever read. About to start

I read Name of the Wind in the summer. I liked it. Emperor of all Maladies has been on my TBR shelf for a while now. It is going to have to wait until next year.
Sarah, I do want to ask, is the Emperor of all Maladies readable and easy to understand? Or is it really medical and full of jargon that people might not get?
@Jodi: It really depends on the reader, I guess? It's supposed to be a "biography" of cancer, and to me, that's what it's like. It reads like a biography, like cancer is a person and you're going through its life.Sometimes they say stuff like "Cancer was a pathological disease of hyperplasia in which cells acquire an autonomous will to divide," but they do explain what "hyperplasia" means earlier in the book. But they don't explain what pathological means, so I guess it kind of assumes that you know what it means already.
It's not a book that a third-grader could read, but it's pretty easy for me to understand. It's got some difficult words thrown in here and there, but as long as you've got a good grasp on vocabulary and a desire to know about cancer, it's great!
I'm reading
in Dutch, it's really interesting &
in German for school. I think I'll start
tomorrow. I'm very curious :)
Reading
from Netgalley. I feel that my last several reads have been really mediocre, and I'm just biding my time for all the new releases this fall that I'm really excited about.

I get so dejected when I have loads of ~okay books in a row, I sometimes start to wonder if it's me, then I read something really good and know that it's not me!
Reading
which is killing me. It's okay in 50page chunks, but any more and I lose the will to live, it's just so long! I read for an hour and am lucky if I've gotten through 5%!
Starting
very soon. Hoping that this one will be good ☺

I'm into self-help books as of the moment:
and
, both are really good reads. As for the novel I'm currently reading, it's
. It's been a while since I truly devoured a book I'm reading and this is one of them. It's quite slow during the first part of the novel but it's a worthwhile read once you get to the middle part of it.
I just finished with
in one sitting. And I've been rereading
. I can't get enough of Mia and Adam.I'm about to read
. I have expectations for this one, I hope it would be good. :)

I still need to read the first one. I'm reading
, which if asked what I am reading, out loud sounds like 'porn'.

How is it so far? I sent a request for it on Netgalley.
It's alright, reminds me of something else though. everybody takes a test, and is assigned a number, which is basically their social class. it's supposed to be fair, but it's anything but. once you have your number, it is tattooed on your neck, and you're stuck with it for life.
