I've just finished
and I really liked it and can't wait to read the rest of the series. But while I didn't hate the love triangle, I don't really see yet why so many people seem to think that it's one of the series where the love triangle works. Maybe I'll change my mind later about him since it seems like we will see a lot more of him in the others books but I found Christian soooo boring. Like I said, I don't hate the triangle or Christian but it will really take some kind of miracle for me to become torn between Christian and Tucker. But still, we never knows ! :)I've started
.I really like the plot so far but it's been a while since I've hated a main character that much. I got it, she wants to be a writter so she's always watching people and noticing stuffs but I think it's annoying that so far Gretchen has wrote the book in a way that make it look like the main character is the only character that knows how to use her brain...She's the only one who has ''ideas'' to solve the situation that the characters are in. THE ONLY ONE. And I hate that the love interest is always so impressed by everything she does. He's always like '' OMG that was ''brillant'', you're so ''smart'',argh. Spoilers( nothing important): Obiously(yes, I'm sarcastic), since she's the only one used to noticing stuff because she wants to be a writter and everything, and so she's the only one to catch on that a character is having an allergic reaction and so she give him an Epipen shot and the love interest is all ''OMG, how did you know what to do?!?!?!''. Humm....I get that not necesserely would have know what to do but I really don't think it's such a shock that someone actually do...
If that was the only moment like that it wouldn't have been such a big deal to me but really, it feels like Gretchen purposely created 9 dumbs characers so that the main one could stand and seem likeble out wich ironically makes me hate the main character and liked the other ones.
Anyway, despite that, I really like the book itself and the plot. It's such an addictive read.
I'm reading The Fault in Our Stars, it's AMAZING! Augustus is literally a boss!
Reading
it's really good and not your typical love story at all. A is a really intriguing character and it's kind of I interesting how every day when he wakes up as someone else, the story changes a little.
Finished
, that was a disappointment (the love triangle). Now
, I've been looking forward to this one since I ordered it (:

I really liked the Demon Trapper's Daughter...loved the world building...but then I was disappointed in book two and didn't finish it.

It's just so obvious who she's going to pick (even though she already picked someone, you just know she's not going to stick with her decision). Frustrated with that, but okay.
The cover of Forsaken is so pretty (: I love Demons (not a big fan of the angels, though).
I've been reading
and
this week. The Red Pyramid is really funny. The Bean Trees is a pick for class.

I really enjoyed the Red Pyramid, I think there are two other books in the series (there might just be one more, I can't remember...), if you like it.

Honestly, I didn't like it as much as I want to - don't get me wrong, it's a good book but I easily got tired of Dessen's books because I find them "formulamatic" if there is such a word. haha. I mean I find all of her books having the same theme. The protagonist having issues with her family which somehow contributed to how she saw life in general then a boy will came into the picture to change her views and then they fall in love in the process. :|
So if you read one already, when you get to read another one, you find that somehow they are just all the same. I don't know but that's just my opinion.

I feel the same way about Abbi Glines. Her characters/themes are pretty formulaic. Sometimes I love it still, but sometimes I'm just not in the mood.
Reading
which I'm enjoying, but I suspect I would have enjoyed even more if I hadnt have let my husband tell me loads of spoilery things about it beforehand. Still...I'm very curious about the Lunars . Also, I feel the dystopian aspect of this book, far more than I thought I would.

Do you read the Sookie Stackhouse books too? They are different from the True Blood tv series, but still good!

When you read Unravel Me, it will get even more confusing! I'm totally Team Warner now! And yet I hated him in the first book.

I think it's a really fast read, even if I didn't always like the characters.
