message 954: by Ivanna (new)

Ivanna (ivannarazote) | 195 comments I just finished with Destroy Me (Shatter Me, #1.5) by Tahereh Mafi , I already have a copy of Unravel Me (Shatter Me, #2) by Tahereh Mafi but I'm not in the mood for it.

I want a light and easy read, so I decided to pick up Between the Lines by Jodi Picoult , I've had it for months now, I just haven't get around reading it. I'm enjoying it so far. It's written like a fairytale book.

Oh, Unravel Me was really good. Don't give up on the series yet! I've read Between the Lines too, it's a good YA Fantasy novel.

Erin Latimer | 73 comments I might work up the courage someday! It does sound really good! But I read "My Sister's Keeper" and it wrecked me...

message 958: by Greta (new)

Greta (goodreadsgreta) | 4545 comments Oh...I read that one too, and it made me cry. I'm just getting to the REALLY sad parts now. Actually feel like I'm crying for the character for two reasons a) he's so loveable b) he's so young (17) and since I'm a mom I just can't stand the thought of a child dying.

message 959: by Marie (new)

Marie | 257 comments I've just finished Bloodlines (Bloodlines, #1) by Richelle Mead and I liked it ever more than I though I would, wich means it was amazing! Don't worry Novel, I won't be giving up on Unravel Me just yet - this series is one of my favorites. I just need a breather since I know it's going be one of those emotional roller coaster with this one.

By the way, I've read your review and it seems like it's better to wait for the third book due to the suspense the ending of this one brought. haha

LOL, don't listen to me! Read it as soon as you can! It's going to be a long wait for book 3... It wont come out until Feb. 2014. =/ I'm hoping that there will be a 2.5 in Adam's POV though.

It's really well written. I hadn't realized that it was a Printz honor book last year

Stephanie (inspiringinsomnia) I'm currently reading The Sweetest Dark by Shana Abe. It's from Net Galley, and it's YA, despite the racy-sounding title. :) I'm just over halfway through, and it's nothing like I thought it would be. Writing a review on this one without spoilers is going to be very difficult.

I think so...the writing is quite beautiful, but it's an odd story. Odd in the sense that the supernatural element took me by surprise.

Same here! But since this is my first NetGalley book, I feel like I need to get it finished and reviewed so I don't get on their naughty list.

Lol Dash & Lily's Book of Dares was my first approved book from them so that's what I'm reading at the moment. :D

message 973: by Jalyn (new)

Jalyn (jalynnie) | 3827 comments I don't think they expect people to read them immediately though or at least that's what I hope!

message 974: by Stephanie (new)

Stephanie (inspiringinsomnia) Don't pay any attention to me; that's complete, unsubstantiated supposition. I just want to get one review for them under my belt. I'm assuming/hoping that will improve my chances of getting approved for titles I really want.

message 975: by [deleted user] (new)

Do you like it? I really enjoyed it when I read it, but it is rather long!

message 976: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm reading Between Shades of Grey, and about halfway through Divergent, both of which are excellent!
