I really loved Room. I already read it but I wanted it for my shelves :)
Ahh, I know the feeling. A book like that stays with you and it feels right to add it to your collection :)
I loved Room, too, very good book! I borrowed it from my aunt so I had to sent it back to her. If I ever find a copy at a thrift shop or something, I would definitely pick it up!

I go to thrift stores a lot, but oddly enough I've only ever bought a handful of books from any. You're right though, the quality is surprisingly high. Some bending on the soft covers, but aside from that, pretty good stuff.

I have Imitation and Stitch but haven't read them yet. Proxy looks really good.
Jenny, I also have Stung which I bought a while ago. I haven't read that one either. :(

Here I go....

I have a few more books in paperback and hardcover but I was really happy and thrilled with these. I actually bought them for my sixteen year old daughter. She's never read a dystopian before and I loved The Moon and The Star Dwellers so much I wanted her to have them all. My daughter also writes freestyle poetry and she's currently writing two different books. I hope to her work published one day. Her first book does have a name and it's called, You Were Her Missing Piece. Thanks so much for introducing me to your books. I hope Haley enjoys them all.

She deserved it and really more. When I say broke, I'm not even lying. Our Christmas wasn't a Christmas. We didn't celebrate it, not giving presents anyway. We were fortunate enough that a few special ladies that are authors got together and sent a Walmart card for food to cook Christmas dinner. They also were nice enough to give me a $100 Amazon gift card. My daughter wanted a cheap laptop or netbook. Amazon recommended the wrong item. She wasn't even able to download anything on it. It was made for browsing the internet only. I had promotion money I'd been saving to go with that gift card. Finally, I think at the middle or end of January I was able to get her a laptop. I didn't know that once you use your promotion money from Amazon, it's lost, non refundable, and no exchanges for something different. It's just gone. But, my husband still hasn't found a job and I paid bills with our tax money except for those books and my daughter's prom dress. That's life and I was fortunate that there's still people with a heart out there. Thanks again David. We are going to do a buddy reads on them. Of course I love that because that's bonding time with my daughter who's almost ready to move from home. She turns 17 on May 20th.

You're most welcome Angela! I'm glad you were able to get so many books for your daughter and I had a blast signing them!
I just got
and
from the library :)

I'd love to read some of Kasie West's work too. Keep waiting for the price to go down on Amazon.
Just bought Throne of Glass, Crown of Midnight and The Winner's Curse in the sale on Amazon UK. Also bought The Sun Dwellers and Dreams of Gods & Monsters which were both full price but I don't want to wait forever to finish the series. Looking foward to starting on them soon :)
I just bought
for only .99 cents on Amazon. It contains 6 indie dystopians. I figured a great deal, even if I only like a few!

I have Stitch as well and even started it but had to stop to get some others done before they are due. I hear it's really good though.

I usually name the book I'm reading on my ereader, the physical book, and the audio I'm listening to, Angela, because I seem to always have more than one book I'm "reading". ;)

Rereading
on my Nook,
in hardback, and
on audio (although slowly while waiting on a few buddies to be ready). ;)

That's what happened to me. I borrowed it and fell in love but had to return it. I found it for 48 cents at goodwill and couldn't pass it up! :)

And you're very welcome Stephanie, you know I love you!
