...it wasn't my favorite. I don't normally mind dysfunctional relationships but in it wasn't just dysfunctional it was very unhealthy. However I will say the part that I like about the book is that it's kind of realistic. Those are the types of unhealthy relationships that you may actually run into or know someone in.

Wow no never heard of it but crazy how mixed the reviews are. I don't think I've ever seen a book with nearly the same number of ratings in each category. I might read a sample and see if I get into it :) Thanks for the rec!

I am on the Sorceress right now. I like how the story just keeps progressing and getting better. I also like he wove all these myths and famous historical figures together and actually made it make sense.

Well, I enter giveaways like it's going out of style. Like I don't have enough books already. But there will be months and months where I get nothing. I'm just having a lucky moment. Let's hope the Mayans were wrong, or those interpreting the Mayan calendar are wrong. Would be just my luck to have the world end before I can read all my won books!

LOL so you guys let me know when you've read the first and we'll look at the 2nd. Anyway, it was good, a bit predictable but I enjoyed it.
