Just got an amazing haul from the Salvation Army (as well as a new wall shelf for my Funko Pops and a new little bookcase!) All of these cost me $2! (The Shelf was $6.50, the bookcase was $10!!)

This week I went to two author events! (I love Phoenix!!)

Tuesday night was Daniel H. Wilson where I picked up

This event was at my local bookstore about 5 minutes away and there were only 7 people there. I was last in line so I ended up sticking around after and hung out with Daniel and the staff while he talked about his best friends (Ernest Cline was one) and books, and the upcoming movie of his book Robopocalypse going into preproduction soon and being directed by Michael Bay. It was so surreal!! Someone pinch me!

And last night I went to see The Lady Janies, Cynthia Hand, Jodi Meadows, and Brodi Ashton and picked up . They were such a hoot and knew who I was from my bookstagram acct! 😳 😂

Hope you like the Jane Hawk books by Dean Koontz. They're different than his normal books. No supernatural stuff. But I love the Jane Hawk character!

I had preordered Catwoman and also got a CatWoman PopSocket for my phone with my preorder! Love it :)

So far, I'm liking the Silent Corner. I like Jane Hawk a lot already. And while this feels like more crime and investigation, parts of it do have the mysterious "Koontz" vibe!
