Jalyn (jalynnie) | 3827 comments Awe that's so sweet Vicki! :)

Novel- love the picture! I've seen maternity shirts that have a loading picture on the belly. Cracks me up every time!

Tatiana- there are groups on here that have a Read to Review section where authors sign up to give away a certain number of free books. If you're one of the first to sign up then you get a free ebook copy (the review books are usually in ebook format) and then you have to review it on Goodreads (and sometimes on Amazon and Barnes & Noble too). Also, if you go to the bar at the top of the page on Goodreads and click on Explore then click on Giveaways, you can enter to win free books that way too. Those don't work exactly the same way because you enter and the person doing the giveaway gets to choose who gets the free book or books. You don't technically have to review those books, but I consider it a courtesy to the author for giving me the free book :) Did I cover everything?

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 2302 comments Will ANYONE buddy read Bloody Valentine (Blue Bloods, #5.5) by Melissa de la Cruz with me? It counts 3 points for the Love challenge and it's not very long. I have to start it today or tomorrow because it was loaned to me and I have had it about a week already. I'd love if anyone would join me.!

If you have a blog you can also get review copies of books not yet released from publishers on Netgalley. It's too tempting at times though! I think I have 10 outstanding on Netgalley at the moment.

I have just started a blog! I've worked for a publisher, reading manuscripts and deciding if they should be published, had a lot of fun with that. I'll check Netgalley!

I read that and it is a fairly quick read. It wasn't what I was expecting though, quite gritty and sad. It's a good book though ☺

message 1434: by Vicki (new)

Vicki (goodreadscomboobooper49) | 2302 comments Jalyn, does it have to be this week? I am reading it on the 26th. Is that too late?

Jalyn (jalynnie) | 3827 comments @Sarah- it's sad? Nooo! I hate sad books :(

@Vicki- The last day for the kissing cover is the 18th and since I've missed so many weeks for that challenge and I already have a short book that will work for this week, I'd like to read it now. Have you looked through it? You're a fast reader, I bet you could fly through it! :D Some pages are literally only a paragraph.

@Samia- Awesome! When can you start it? Also, here's the thread for The Indigo Spell http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1...

Lol I know what you mean! I've noticed that the books I discuss with others tend to stick out in my mind better later.

How about tomorrow? I won't be able to start it until later in the day, but I can get to it in the evening and that will give us enough time to finish it for the challenge this week :)
