Kathryn you should read Allegiant. Don't base one opinion on if you read it or not. I have heard more good things than bad, especially from the booktube community. Read it and form your own opinion. Don't be discouraged. :)

I'm not going to get into why Allegiant was so bad, but, unlike Dezra, I heard more bad opinions than good. ;) If you were not that impressed by the first 2 books you might even like it, because this book felt like a new story with almost the same characters. Also, Roth lost her spark and her ability to engage you in the story. Unlike the first 2, it was all talk and no action. Then again, you might enjoy such things.

I would still burn the book @.@. I was really close to shoving my mp3 down the toilet after finishing the audiobook, but then I remembered Prodigy was there and decided not to do it. After finishing Champion my mp3 barely survived so maybe I'm not the best of judge regarding trilogies since I seem to hate 90% of them ^^. Still, after getting me invested in the story and ask me to read 3 books in order to finish it you can't deliver me shit and expect me not to rage about it. :( It's like, after 3 years, the authors forgot where they wanted to bring the story and who their characters were. Really, Tobias acts like a girl with PMS in the last book.
