AGREED! I love this book!

I also recommend reading these...

All three have a Daemon in them that melts you to your toes! The Crysor series reminds me a lot of the Lux series. Same friendships and all! Something Witchy has the same flirty banter as Katy and Daemon. They are so awesome :) And White Hot Kiss is by the same author as the Lux, sooo kind of the same male lead!

After I read Lux series, then the Mortal Instruments.
I'm like whoa. Do these authors have like synchronized minds or something. Daemon and Jace are EXACTLY alike. Katy and Clary are EXACTLY alike.
I love both books, but Mortal Instruments is a little better. Lux has a little too much love for my taste.

It's hard for me to find two different book series that are similar, equally enjoyable and yet have their own unique plots and characters- but Lux and Existence do just that. Anyone who loved the Lux series will love the Existence trilogy! :)

you should read The Immortal series by Alison Noel. Its AMAZING!

I was able to draw so many parallels between Obsidian and Twilight.

1. Katy/Bella moves from the heat to a small town in the middle of nowhere.

2. Bella/Kat are indoorsy type females who like reading and keeping to themselves.

3. Charlie and Kats mum don't spend much time around their child and let their Bella and Kat be very independent.

4. Mysterious family in town that she has to find so much about.

5. Supernatural creatures who look like humans with brilliant good looks.

6. Daemon/Edward is in love with a fragile human girl but can't let himself get involved with a human because it is dangerous for the human and the supernatural family discovery/existence.

7. Alice/Dee are very fun, energetic and stylish people.

8. Rosalie and Ashley are antagonistic towards Bella/Kat in terms of threat to livelihood and jealousy.

So yeah if you are looking for a book that has a similar character to Daemon probably Twilight but you have probably already read it.

*By no means is this a hate post I love both the Twilight Saga and Obsidian, these are just similarities I could not help but notice :)

Lets be real there is no one like Daemon but here are some guys that I fell in love with:

1. Katrik from A Great and Terrible Beauty
2. Ren and Kishan (There brothers) From Tigers Curse
3. Tristan from Anew
4. All four of the brothers from Elementals (first book is Storm)
5. Roth from White Hot Kiss
6. Adrian from Bloodlines
7 Aiden from Half Blood
8. and last and best is Will and Jem from The infernal devices

There are many other books with guys I love but those are my favorite ones. Hope this helps!!

I have no idea how i will ever recover from the amazingness of Daemon Black.......once you go black you never go back. I recommend the selection series. It is not a paranormal series but the prince is to die for and they don't start out in love either.:)

It's been a while since I've read it, but I think that a character, Adam, is like that. I think it could be more in book 2, Shadow of the Mark.

But I really love those characters and the setting and, gosh, everything, so I'd really suggest that you read it, haha :)

I think Hush Hush is more of an insta love. Obsidian is actually a well written and good hate-love relationship
