I rarely DNF a book.

Since I rarely DNF a book, I strongly suspect that the real reason I couldn't get into it is because I had Edge of Darkness waiting for me.

Imperfect Hero/Heroine

Second Installment - Janie is in real danger.

I have this on request. Hope you like it! BTW, Kat Martin is going to continue after Beyond Control into a new series with the guys from the security agency :)

I'm glad to here that Kat Martin is starting another series. I love her and will read whatever she writes.
The Mackenzie's Mountain Series is just wonderful. You will love it!

I am liking this series. Just started #2. I have all of them in my book bag. I will read any of Kat Martin as well. I really like her books.

Not a good place to start the series

Lucky you!!

Wow, this is wonderful news! Hope it's great read :)

O no! Sorry to hear that Anita :(

I really enjoyed that one Dee! I love Alaska as a setting in books.

I'm really enjoying it.

Its a pretty good mystery and another book with flawed main character. I'm in the middle and can't wait to see how it all turns out.

I-Team's Back! Joaquin - Sexy, Sensual, Awesome.

Poor Anita. Sometimes it does feel like everything has decided to breake down at the same time, so you are like "Okay, what's next?!". So I always try to see positive side: the plumbing is now fixed and hopefully no need to think about it for the next decades. And hopefully now you can get better, more modern and economic dryer ;)
PS: Added Deadly Intent by Pamela Clare to my TBR list :)

O my gosh Anita! I'm sorry to hear that. Your right, when it rains it pours. Eve is right. You'll have new safe plumbing and a dryer now.

As it turned out, my husband was able to fix the dryer with just a $40 part. Maybe the house god will leave us alone for a while. At least until we get our tax refund!

Good going on your hubby's part! i'll keep my fingers crossed for ya :)

Having mixed views of this new Shalvis book..."
I loved this one. I liked them together in the last book though. I have enjoyed all of this series so far. I am hoping she does one for Molly as well.

Both are set in small town/rural CO, both have main characters with a history of addictions and mental illness in their immediate family. Both have dogs who are important to the story.
But the romance element in both is not well done (unlike Linda Howard’s books).

French-Indian War Historical-Romance

I didn't know about that feature.......this book is a little slow at first but is dragging me in and so funny :)

Great new Cozy-Mystery Series
