Nancy...I really enjoyed it....some of the usual characters from earlier books. A twist that involves some handicapped children..which I know Ms Thayne knows a lot about.

Disregard the cheezy cover. Whoever picked the cover didn't read the story. NEITHER model is representative of the characters inside. Why do people who haven't read a book get to pick the covers?

I have found myself listening to the Phryne Fisher audios. It is a television series on PBS station, so I started to listen to the audio. Basically, in this case I like the TV shows better, but I still want to finish the series

I love the "Miss Fisher Mysteries" TV shows. I get them off Netflex and am into the third season. They are wonderful.

I just got Wired last night. I am only a few chapters in but I have to say it seems as good as most of her previous books. I only stopped because I was so tired from work.

Look at it more as a romance and don't judge the weak suspense plot. There are a lot of negative reviews out, but the book, while not fantastic, is good.

So far I'm only about 50 pages in but so far I really like it, but then I do like romances. Usually I prefer RS but a straight romance can be good too.

I wouldn't say it is straight romance, but it doesn't really live up to the Romantic-Suspense label, either. I call it Romantic-Suspense Lite.

Why my high rating? I looked at it the same way I did Come Sundown. I highly respect the author. While not their best work, it was superior to most anything else.

Finished Rosalind James newest, and not, in my opinion, one of her better books. She's gotten excellent reviews on it, so it must be me. I couldn't connect with the heroine, and it seemed so repetitive.

Trudy Roundtree, the main character, is a deputy in her small town of Ogeechee. [Humorous too :)]
