I am now reading an older work by Lori Foster It is funny with a touch of mystery/suspense. I am 30% into it and so far it is 5 stars.

Been reading a whole lot of regency romances by Carla Kelly. Her books are really well written with likeable characters and fade to black love scenes.

I have downloaded a lot of e-books so am working my way through those.

Like Nancy, I've got a lot of free and .99 books on my Ipad and I've also bought the new ones from my favorite authors that were out June 24 and again today. I stockpile against the months when there's nothing out or offered cheap that interests me.

I've found so many new-to-me authors....some who I'll never buy, but more really good ones!

I just finished MOBY-Diana Gabaldins newest Outlander and loved it,it had less war than usual and I do like that.
Since I apparently am a gluton for punishment I picked up Outlander to put OBY away and ended up reading it,I like to reread series before a new release but work interferes sometimes-maybe I can let go and not get anymore involved with hunky Jamie.

I have been inundated lately with a lot of new books. Truthfully, I put MOBY by Diana Gabaldon on the back burner. I think I have to be in a mood to read her. I just finished Not Quite a Wife by Mary Jo Putney. It was just an ok read. I also finished Killing Time by LH and now I am starting on Face of Deception, Killing Game, and The Search by Iris Johansen. I also have 3 books by Diana Palmer I need to read then take back to the Library. I also have 4 audios by Susan Elizabeth Phillips.

I've been in a semi-reading-slump for months now. Occasionally I'll pick up something new and tear through it like I used to, but mostly I've been rereading favorites (especially Feehan's Drake Sisters and Harrison's Elder Races). In audio I've been on a non-fiction kick and have read which was excellent and have started which is good but very long. I've also been rereading bead embroidery books since that is my current obsession.

I'm on #2 of Marie Force's new Green Mountain series.

I'm enjoying this series, set in Vermont, about the Abbott siblings whose family owns/operates the Green Mountain Store that seems to be based on the real Vermont Country Store.

I hate the cheesy cover, but then I'm really picky about covers. So many, in my opinion, make the author's work look like cheap crap.

I am SO tired of just bare-chested men on the covers of contemporary romances !!
[ But it does make it easy to pick out the romances as I looked at the covers of my e-books. :) ]
I am reading the rest of the Shiloh Legacy--our bookclub read the first two books for May and June of this year. It is 5 star in my reviews.

For some unknown reason, ok so it was available, I am reading Gone Girl I got is as a library e-book and am 20% into it and am still not sure what to make of it.

I got a newsletter from Janet Elizabeth Henderson. You can pick up a bundle of I think it is 7 books for 99 cents. JEH is a member of our group. If you have any questions about it you might be able to pm her. I believe she has put a link for you somewhere, but I am truthfully not sure where.

BTW, I have read several of her books and they are really good.

I'm on the 22nd book (Stolen Prey) of the Lucas Davenport series by John Sanderson. I love the series, and will probably miss Lucas when i run out of books as there are only 24 so far :(

It is a longer book than normal,about 483 pages, and I read the first half in one day, then forced myself to get up and do some work around the house. Now I am on to the second half and loving it as much as the first half.

I am seriously looking for Maya Banks (KGI), Pamela Clare (I-Team) and Cindy Gerard (Bodyguard and Black Ops). I have some books from each series, but none of the first books. It is driving me crazy. I may need to go on an out of my area used book buying trip.

I loved the book. This series by Lori Foster is just so fun. I have the other books also, but haven't had a chance to read them yet.

I just got Julie Garwood's latest book Fast Track

I am reading my way through Suzanne Brockmann Tall Dark and Dangerous series. I am reading #3 Frisco's Kid This book was written in 1997, but deals with issues like our wounded warriors and alcohol addiction that are just as real today.

Oh I love that story. I have that book out waiting to reread, but I always have so many other books to read I never get to it.
