whoop whoop!
well my story kind of started out as a roleplay, but then turned into writing a novel, because there were too many ideas to roleplay about.
And now it's got 124 pages so far. :D

yes, because whatever you were going to write about the character in first person
e.g
I used to go to school in Perth
can be translated right into 3rd person
She used to go to a school in Perth
and even talking
"I can't believe you did that!" I yelled in frustration.
can be changed into 3rd person

but you can novels like Linger where it changes the 1st person point of view every chapter.......
Loooove the shiver series!
you can learn the exact asme either way, just with more complicated sentences you have to adjust the structure, like up there^
You can do the same thing if you wanted to explain something, because descriptive language doesn't change that much from 1st person to 3rd person.
Whoops, see this is my obsession with English coming out here! ha ha I feel so ahead in my year 10 class and they don't even read. :/

I'm suffering from post-series depression, I can't believe it's over!!!!!
I HAVEN'T STARTED!!!! I had a silly things after school and then exams revision and assignments and I JUST WANT TO READ EMPOWER!!! but YAY FOR THE WEEKEND!!!
I've only read the first page because it was put up by the facebook page and Jessica.

yes. You are allowed to discus it on the Empower thread though. Freely and without having to hide spoiler! :D

I know what you mean, but she wasn't that bad. Out of all the characters they could have different castings for Al, Peter and Will. In the movie, all three characters looked very similar. It may have had something to do with the lighting or the way it was filmed, but people who haven't read the book will definitely not know who they are.
This isn't really spoilers, but the Edward scene isn't there :(
But the one thing that really annoys me, is that you don't really get to know the characters. It feels a bit dry, like they tried to fit as many things as they could into the movie, but there wasn't any time to develop on the relationships between the characters.
But overall - the movie is really good!!!

Soooooo, I have a dilemma again, u guys recommend anything new to read cz I can't find anything good.
Btw, who else can't wait until Sweet Peril coming in April and The One coming in early May? And should I even dare mention City Of Heavenly Fire???!?!??!? I have been searching the internet EVERYDAY for any new snippets and hints about that book, I BEED CLARY AND JACE SOOOOOOO MUCCH!!!!

Yeah, I know!!! I haven't read Sweet Peril yet but I can't wait for Sweet Reckoning. Sweet Evil was AWESOME.
And I own The Selection and The Elite but I haven't read the second one, however I'm planning to read it this holidays.
I have a pic that tells you all about COFA, but I'm not sure how to send it.

Alice in Zombieland (if you like fantasy, action, romance and ZOMBIES!!!)

The Mockingbirds (if you like reality and things based on To Kill a Mockingbird)

Please Ignore Vera Dietz (again, if you like reality and want something short to read)

Wings (If you don't mind fantasy and a bit of romance (and mystery) )

Geek Girl (If you want a light read)

Daughter of Smoke and Bone (NO EXPLANATION NEEDED - READ IT NOW !!!!!!! XD

What did you think?

Daughter of Smoke and Bone IS a bit odd, but it is AWESOMELY odd. I'm not kidding.
The start is a bit weird but it has this seriously awesome fantasy vibe with it. I can't explain how awesome it is but, hey, the main character has BLUE HAIR. Get that? Blue Hair!!!!!
(I used the word awesome three times...well now four)

Btw, I'm a huge Wings fan, I think that's one of the best fairy books ever cz fairy books are just so hard to pull off successfully without sounding silly.

Well, I don't actually own the Laini Taylor books, but I'm going to buy them really soon.
Alice in Zombieland is far from Wings but it's really good. It's a bit creepy at times though. Not overly, but it builds.
I can't find ANYTHING like Wings!! Aprilynne Pike pulled it off really well, because I haven't been able to find another faerie book like it.
Have you read the whole series?

Truthfully I've only read the first book, but I really enjoyed it. I've been planning on reading the rest for a while now, but I get easily distracted. XD
It has some mildly creepy parts in it, though. I think it's great that Dylan O'Brien is playing the main character in the movie. ( I'm not a celebrity person, but I like anyone who can make me laugh. Personally I like seeing new faces in movies, because that means we aren't judging them on previous roles they have played)

She has a few out already. There's Earthbound and Life after Theft.
Before the end of this year, Earthquake and Sleep No More will also be out!
So excited!! XD

They have most things, but lots of actual stores don't sell Aprilynne Pike books unless they're new releases. :(

I'm a big sucker for sales though. You never know when they're going to come up so you have to be prepared XD

I think our Dymocks just got a cafe now, but I've never been one for drinking coffee or tea. I'd probably go for a hot chocolate though XD.
But I would definitely agree with you. I love going alone and reading books when it's quiet.

I know the feeling. Our last 2 weeks before holidays, we had about 7 tests. For all different subjects!!!! I mean, seriously?! That's a bit unfair...
You kind of have to pick which ones you want to do better in.
And reading? There is basically no time. You can try to cut it out of sleeping time, but it really tires you out! *sighs*
