still, is it easy to learn about a character in 3rd or 1st person?

well my story kind of started out as a roleplay, but then turned into writing a novel, because there were too many ideas to roleplay about.
And now it's got 124 pages so far. :D

yes, because whatever you were going to write about the character in first person
e.g
I used to go to school in Perth
can be translated right into 3rd person
She used to go to a school in Perth
and even talking
"I can't believe you did that!" I yelled in frustration.
can be changed into 3rd person
"I can't believe you did that!" she yelled in frustration.
true. but I suppose if the story is in 3rd person you can learn about other characters a lot more.but you can novels like Linger where it changes the 1st person point of view every chapter.......

you can learn the exact asme either way, just with more complicated sentences you have to adjust the structure, like up there^
You can do the same thing if you wanted to explain something, because descriptive language doesn't change that much from 1st person to 3rd person.
Whoops, see this is my obsession with English coming out here! ha ha I feel so ahead in my year 10 class and they don't even read. :/

Out of all the characters they could have different castings for Al, Peter and Will. In the movie, all three characters looked very similar. It may have had something to do with the lighting or the way it was filmed, but people who haven't read the book will definitely not know who they are.
This isn't really spoilers, but the Edward scene isn't there :(
But the one thing that really annoys me, is that you don't really get to know the characters. It feels a bit dry, like they tried to fit as many things as they could into the movie, but there wasn't any time to develop on the relationships between the characters.
But overall - the movie is really good!!!

Yeah, I know!!! I haven't read Sweet Peril yet but I can't wait for Sweet Reckoning. Sweet Evil was AWESOME.
And I own The Selection and The Elite but I haven't read the second one, however I'm planning to read it this holidays.

I've read Wings and I've heard of "Zombie Glass" or smthing like that, but I've heard that Daughter of Smoke and Bone is reeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaallllyyyyyyyy strange and odd, like super-duper odd, is it? Lol
I know it's been a while since it was released (I watched it on the first day XD) but have you guys seen The Maze Runner trailer?What did you think?

The start is a bit weird but it has this seriously awesome fantasy vibe with it. I can't explain how awesome it is but, hey, the main character has BLUE HAIR. Get that? Blue Hair!!!!!

See I've been eyeing it for a while, but I read some reviews that say it's just tooo far-fetched, but I might give it a try soon, I have break next week. And would you say Alice in Zombieland is similar to Wings? Btw, I'm a huge Wings fan, I think that's one of the best fairy books ever cz fairy books are just so hard to pull off successfully without sounding silly.

Alice in Zombieland is far from Wings but it's really good. It's a bit creepy at times though. Not overly, but it builds.
I can't find ANYTHING like Wings!! Aprilynne Pike pulled it off really well, because I haven't been able to find another faerie book like it.
Have you read the whole series?

It has some mildly creepy parts in it, though. I think it's great that Dylan O'Brien is playing the main character in the movie. ( I'm not a celebrity person, but I like anyone who can make me laugh. Personally I like seeing new faces in movies, because that means we aren't judging them on previous roles they have played)
Yea I've read all of Wings, and the last book was just reeeeaaally awesome!!!!! And I'll try either Zombieland or daughter of smoke and bones next. I don't know much about the actors in Maze Runner, but the trailer looked epic and it or me seriously excited about the book, even though I'm usually wary of apocalyptic dystopian type books
And Pike has a new book out too, but idk what it's called, I have high expectations for it ;)

I'd suggest book depository (if there was an actual store, I'd probably live in it XD) They have most things, but lots of actual stores don't sell Aprilynne Pike books unless they're new releases. :(
Yea, that's true. Sometimes if I have a free day I just spend it at my local barnes and nobles, where they have almost everything I'm looking for, but i have huge tests coming up and I'm swamped with work :( :( :( :(
Hmmmm yeah. I love to spend time at Dymocks but there's so many other things to get done. I just stand there picking up random books, and deciding which I should read next. I especially love going with friends, because we go over which were the best and what covers and editions we like.I'm a big sucker for sales though. You never know when they're going to come up so you have to be prepared XD
Lol yeaaa, but the one that I go to has a Starbucks, so I usually grab a whole stack of books, order a huge tea, and spend the day just going through the books. I prefer going alone cz my friends aren't into books as much as I am and I like the quiet

But I would definitely agree with you. I love going alone and reading books when it's quiet.
My biggest tests end early May, and then I'll have more free time to read, but right now my teachers are driving me nuts, so I barely have enough time to sleep, forget about reading

Our last 2 weeks before holidays, we had about 7 tests. For all different subjects!!!! I mean, seriously?! That's a bit unfair...
You kind of have to pick which ones you want to do better in.
And reading? There is basically no time. You can try to cut it out of sleeping time, but it really tires you out! *sighs*
No I have just 2 tests, but they're for college-level classes so they're pretty hard and require tons of reviewing for. Ughh... The easier tests come in June, but those are really simple
