Also, doesn't the winner of the Point System get to pick the 2nd book we read monthly? Or are we only having one group read this month.
Hey guys I'm back. The camp I went to was for two weeks and yesterday was my birthday yeah. I'm officially 13!!!
Hey mods, I'm not a mod anymore since I've been demoted by Chade so I guess this is my last post on this thread. Cya guys!
Hey guys thanx for the birthday wishes. To confirm, captainm2 is no longer a moderator so a new moderator will be found as soon as possible. Captainm2 used inappropriate language on one of the threads therefore his moderator privileges have been suspended.

I was thinking about giving each member privileges to help increase commenting. So we will categorize our members.
Supreme Commenters-Get to choose which books should be voted on for the Book of the Month/Can apply for a mod position if there is an opening/Standard experience. (800-600 comments)
Great Commenters-Can apply for a mod position if there is an opening/Standard experience. (400-599 comments)
Good Commenters-Can not apply for mod position/Standard experience. (100-399 comments)
Lazy Commenters-Vote for Book of the Month will not count/Cannot apply for mod position. (0-99 comments)
Does everyone agree? I think I might have to change the privileges for the Lazy Commenters, does anyone have any ideas?
Also Kayla is now a new mod so please welcome her.
Thanx

I like it, except I think we should lower the lazy commenter bar to 0-49 comments.
(it's really hard for some people to comment but they try)

HEY! CAPS LOCK IS COOL. BUT THIS IS A MOD ONLY THREAD. NO PROBLEM I UNDERSTAND IF YOU MAKE A MISTAKE.
It's where Chade, Charlie, Kayla and I discuss the club and the any issues and ideas. We are the moderators, which means we control the discussions and run the club.
At the moment, there is no opening for a moderator position, but you can submit an application here and we will contact you if a position is open!

1. HOW DOES THE MOD SYSTEM WORK?
2. WHAT'S THAT POINT SYSTEM THING?
3. WHAT'S A RP?
4. WHAT'S HG RP
5. I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE CASERE FLICKERMAN INTERVIEW
6. IS THAT CAPTAIN GUY A MOD BECAUSE HE'S POSTED HERE BEFORE
7. WHAT'S THE BOOK OF THE MONTH?
THAT'S IT!
1. The mods are basically the people who keep the group running, make sure the discussions are safe, check the posts, etc. they can delete any comments made in the group and can block members who behave in appropriately. We don't really have a system for choosing mods, just whenever we feel we need another one we will evaluate the application forms.
2. The point system is the measure of how many comments a member has posted in this group. If a member has posted 5 comments, they will receive 50 points, 10 comments a hundred etc. After a period of time we will measure the amount of points each member has and the top 5 most active members will receive some form of prize. The points system has not been running recently due to difficulties but will be resuming on August the 5th.
3. A RP is short for role playing, which is a type of game in which a person writes a story form the viewpoint of a fictional character and interacts with others doing the same thing. For example.
Person 1. Alex ((their character)) walked towards Rita ((another persons made up character)). 'Hello, Rita.' He said, a slight tremble in his hands the only betrayal of his anxiety.
Person 2: Rita watched as Alex drew closer to her. 'Hello, Rita', he said coolly. 'Hello to you to, Alex', she replied.
Etc.

4. HG RP means the Roleplay of The Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins. Each person will be able to create one tribute to compete in the Hunger Games. It is probably best that you read the Hunger Games series before attempting to role play, as it will give you an understanding of the world in which our role play is set.
5. The interview with Caesar Flickerman is part of the RP we are doing. Again, to really understand, you should read the books. I highly recommend them.
